There's a small "luxury" section as soon as you walk into the store and then the rest of the building is true thrifting. They have a wonderful selection of clothes and a good amount of homegoods, shoes, furniture, accessories, etc. They're a bit lacking in the toy and physical media departments but that's true of most thrifts in the area. They run sales frequently and those are the times that are most worth it to come. The people here are super friendly and helpful! The parking situation is a bit difficult because there's no parking lot, but there's lots of room around for street parking! As with any thrift store in the modern era, there are a few wacky prices, but WG Marketplace is genuinely much more fun to shop at than the usual haunts.

But that's totally forgiven as they seem to be staffed by volunteers. If this was more of a corporate thrift store I'd dock the stars for that. Anyway, it looks like as of my August 2017 visit the thrift store is open 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays and have daytime hours Tuesday through Friday. I would check with them for hours if you're driving to Seneca. The food pantry is by appointment for those in need. As for the thrift store...it's not huge, but it's pretty well stocked and they have low prices. There's quite a lot for babies, kids, and expectant mothers, including linens, pregnancy and childcare books, children's and maternity clothing, etc. I was seeking adult clothing, magazines, books, and decor, and found a few items that made it well worth the drive from Joplin to Seneca on a Saturday morning. Most clothing is neatly hung and reasonably well organized. My favorite find was a vintage style top that seems to be homemade but is fantastic! They were having a special summer sale making it dirt cheap. They also accept donations of merchandise or spare change for their mission of providing hunger relief for the community, so I have to give five stars. The ladies working were very friendly and polite when we visited the store.

The first time, I noticed that not only was the inside full of canned goods, there were three full cases of beans and soup on the ground next to the food bank. The next time I drove by, it was all gone. Clearly, there's a need in this community and people are filling it. The food bank is sponsored by Troop 71975 who are part of the Ozark Trails Council. I've let them know the door fell off. [Review 1475 of 2025 - 463 in Missouri - 25028 overall]

I don't remember it looking like that when I took it off the night before either. The other lady but into our conversation stating they don't work on lab grown diamonds (I wasn't asking about the diamond. I was asking for reshaping and repair of the gold band and setting base.) That lady continued to tell me that my ring was terrible and it should have never been made that way, when in fact that's exactly how I wanted my ring to look originally and I loved it that way. The jeweler did step in telling me what I should have done to it, but that it would change the look of the ring slightly. I left there without much help and feeling like my ring was "terrible."
