My baby is 6 days old. my baby was there for 2 days. I called at 10am to let them know I'm picking up between 3:30-4:30pm. When I arrived I asked a couple times about the clothes I brought my baby in with. They said in the box. They were not in the box. 3 sleepers, two footed pants, 2 bodysuits and a hat. They should have an inventory sheet. They were informed 5 hours ahead of time. When going out to the car, I was having a hard time putting the car seat in, I asked a staff (the supervisor's wife) to help me put the seat in. She was rude & looked to have difficulty putting the seat in as well. When we arrived home & went to take the car seat out. She DID NOT buckle the seatbelt in, the seatbelt strap WAS NOT LOCKED TIGHT IN PLACE. She did not bother TO INFORM ME. If we had a car accident on our way home, she would of been the reason why my baby died. New mom, 6 days old, 2 days before Christmas. Going through post partum depression. I am still grieving the adoption with my first born at 18 due to no stability & support. I am diagnosed with PTSD with history of suicide attempts. My baby came home with diaper rash from sitting in soiled diapers too long, I know they have diaper rash cream and didn't use any on my baby by the looks of it. The supervisor's wife needs to be yanked from working at children's haven. Should be trained how to do car seats without a base, they should of been checking babies for dirty diapers periodically.

Now, I make use of their 2nd floor indoor track and weight-lifting machines for cardio and strength training. They have treadmills, elliptical, and free weights too if that's what you're into. Clean surroundings, friendly staff, and good locker space just add to making this YMCA one of the best I've seen. The only reason it's not 5-star is because of how full it can get during busy times.
