There's also a small selection of screen printing materials, woodblock equipment and drying racks for budding Warhols and more crafts-based artists. The shop is a long walk from Brighton and central Hove so it's best to grab a bus or lift from friends. They also have an online shop which stocks most of the things in the store and the staff are super knowledgable too. If they don't stock something, they'll probably be able to advise you who does.

Apart from my slightly prudish distaste for this kind of thing, the fact that the prices here are quite high as well also sets my teeth on edge. I understand, it's a complicated process to cast body bits, but I reckon there's quite a high novelty tax on this kind of thing. It's not like it's my sort of thing anyway, but I also hate being ripped off, and would always wonder about it if I went here. Not really for me, this, but it is still pretty cool, and a great addition to the saucy Ship Street Gardens, which also features She Said and Impure Art, one being a sex shop and the other an erotic art gallery. It's certainly the right place for an art student or someone looking to get an original birthday present for their loved one.

Tash tori isn't like any if those places. For a small shop it has almost everything a crafter might need in small amounts. If you ask any of the staff for suggestions about some weird project you're working on, from making a card, to colouring the face of a puppet, they'll come up with very helpful suggestions, and you can tell straight away that they aren't offering you the highest priced option for the sake of it. It's the best arts and crafts shop I've found outside of America, and certainly one of the best in the Sussex area.

They stock a few balls of wool, some coloured papers and cards, stickers, and so on. It doesn't appear to be terribly expensive, and they also hold some events/classes there; there was a poster in the window advertising an upcoming card making demonstration.
