Pork Enchiladas, Chips & Salsa(good flavor), & a Fantastic Skinny Margarita!
    Kassie B.

I must say I'm sad that I'm leaving and this place was sssooo close to where I stayed. The food was surprisingly good I went t out on a limb. I normally eat extremely healthy always sticking to salads but decided to try the pork enchiladas. They were Fantastic! DELISHOUS the pork was plentiful. Not overly greasy. The rice perfectly cooked & I never eat refried beans but I did try a little bit of their refried beans & they were also great!!! My skinny margarita was also, ~SPOT ON~ from a Latin gurl from Texas where Mexican food is One of the Best cuisine's... I must say, THIS PLACE IS A LIL' GEM!!!

Lunch special. . . Ground beef taco, cheese enchilada and rice.

Was really excited to try this place. Very nice atmosphere. Very colorful and nice music playing. Seats and booths are decorated with colorful Mexican scenes. I appreciated the way they served the salsa. In a little carafe and you pour what you want. The taco was good. The shell held up well to the ground beef. The taco had lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. The enchilada wasn't my favorite. I didn't like the sweetness of the sauce and the cheese was too runny. Reminded me of the enchilada I had In Indiana. Rice was good. I started feeling sick and had to leave. Not sure if it was the food or something else. I was really sick to my stomach by the time I got back to the hotel (5min away).

Stopped here while on a trip with my son. Wow probably the best Mexican food I've ever had. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was festive but not over the top. We will absolutely stop here again!

I started eating and forgot to take a picture but it's so good..

Third time here this week and not sure why I have not said anything about this hidden little Mexican paradise in Clinton Tennessee.. the food, the atmosphere, the people here are all welcoming and festive. The grilled Acapulco plate is so good. Habaneros brought Mexico with them when they opened. Highly recommend Habaneros in Clinton...

The chips always taste like they are prepared in rancid grease. Have experienced this several times. Will no longer eat there.

Margaritas are pre made in a five gallon bucket. Watered down. I wouldn't recommend their drinks.

Friendly staff, massive restaurant and solid Mexican food…read more They have good prices, ample portions and cold beer. What's not to love? The family that owns this place is also really friendly and kind and it always makes us want to support their business. The family has their favorites and I normally split the Burritos Guaranatos with my wife, it's two grilled chicken burritos with queso over top and pico de gallo to go along with it. This also comes with rice and beans and it's plenty to feed us. My kids love their quesadillas and ACP and the portions are amazing. My only criticism would be their cheese dip feels like it could be kept a little warmer as it gets kind of clumpy and it's typically pretty thick within minutes of hitting the table. It does have really good flavor though. This place is a staple for us and we'll be back time and time again.

All staff wear earpieces, taking instructions and hurrying around at a frenzied pace. Guests in this aisle instinctively pick up their pace to match. This is NOT a Mexican restaurant where you feel at leisure nor will you experience a laid back discussion with the staff. However, it is interesting to watch the military style activity. The food has been delicious during all my visits. The pork chops can be a bit overcooked, but many prefer it that way. The menu is extensive and the prices are great.

It's in a little building between Clinton and Oak Ridge and the staff is the absolute friendliest group ever. It's a smaller restaurant so it might be packed some days and a little quieter others. Clinton has no shortage of options when it comes to Mexican restaurants and everyone seems to have their favorite and that's totally fine but this place stands out to me and I'll tell you why. Everything I've ever ordered there seems to have better and more dynamic flavor than other places. My favorite dish is fajitas or grilled chicken but this place has me switching up my order to try things I otherwise would not because literally everything I've ever gotten here is amazing. There are certainly staples you'll find at other places but they have a great carne asada steak, the grilled chicken is amazing. Even the shredded chicken is legit. This trip we got a kids cheese quesadilla with rice and beans, a kids ACP, and I got cheese enchiladas with grilled chicken on top. I loved my enchiladas but had no problem tasting the rest of the families items because it was all so good. If you like spicy make sure and ask for some of their homemade hot salsa it's really good. They also have frosted glasses for cold draft beer both domestic and imported. 10/10 - I'd go back anytime.

We picked a beautiful day and sat upstairs--the view is phenomenal! We were celebrating our anniversary, and it was such a sweet surprise to find a little card waiting for us at the table. We started with the Colonel Cigars appetizer, and they were delicious! Just a heads-up--they only come with three. Our server made great recommendations. I ordered the grilled pork chop with the cherry demi-glaze, and it was outstanding. I paired it with sweet potato fries and a side salad. My husband had the grilled blackened grouper with mashed potatoes and a side salad. It was excellent, though the portion was a bit small for the price. One of our favorite parts of the meal was the homemade dressings and sauces. The horseradish Caesar dressing was incredible! We both cleaned our plates and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It's also a great place to take a stroll before or after your meal, making for a perfect outing. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

There is a lot to say about this place, so buckle in. We moved to the Oak Ridge Tennessee area…read morerecently, and we are just diving in to the local food scene. Tonight's choice...The Pearl. It is a short 15 minute drive along a beautiful river from where we currently live. It was gorgeous. This entire area of Tennessee is just breathtaking. When we arrived in the parking lot, I was moved by how the restaurant blended seamlessly into the park that surrounds it. They even had luxury golf carts at the ready if you didn't want to walk up the hill to the restaurant. What a nice touch. We were kindly greeted by the hosts and promptly seated in a very comfortable booth with an outstanding view of the landscape outside. There is also an ample patio if you choose to dine alfresco. This place is obviously upscale, but it was nice to see a variety of dress. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I am always a bit anxious meeting the server for the evening. I have been to many nicer restaurants where the server hung on me like an over-sized suit. That can really take away from an otherwise lovely meal. Not today. Meet my new friend, Nik. He was extremely well versed in the offerings on the entire menu. He made thoughtful suggestions presented in a kind and sincere delivery. He was extremely attentive the entire meal. My unsweetened iced tea never reached the halfway point before Nik had a fresh one at the ready. This was some of the best table service I have EVER experienced. He will be requested time and time again as we plan to return often. Let's get to the food. We started with the grouper bites as our appetizer. Nik explained how the fish was so amazingly fresh even though we are no where near the ocean. The quality was outstanding. I highly recommend this starter. One last thing about the freshness of the fish. A couple of years ago, my wife and I had the opportunity to go on a bucket list trip to the St. Regis in the Maldives. We caught grouper on a fishing excursion and it was prepared by the master chefs at St. Regis. The grouper we had tonight was just as good if not better than that delightful meal in the Maldives. Please, give it a try. I had the bone in pork chop and my wife had the salmon. Both entrees were absolutely fantastic. It was one of those meals where you wished the evening wouldn't end. I am looking forward to trying absolutely everything on the menu. I have a feeling that each dish will bring great satisfaction. So, Nik...have any good suggestions for dessert? Silly question. Another perfect pairing to our outstanding meal...dry cherry bourbon pecan pie. Scratch made heaven on a plate. I could go on and on. If you made it this far into this never ending review, you have done well. Go eat here. Ask for Nik. Take a suggestion or two and have an amazing evening.
