The appointment was made for 10am but the morning of the drivers called and asked for an earlier time of around 8. This was not possible but I told them I could be there earlier and we agreed to 0945 meet at the PODs facility. At 1000 the driver called and said he would be 18 minutes late. The driver called again at 1020 and said he couldn't find the place. I then called in the main like to talk to the manager. The manager said the truck was having trouble with the address of the PODs facility. I told him the address again and the manager started accusing me of supplying a completely different address. I told him no, I of course gave him the correct address. He then started yelling at me stating I did not give him the correct address. We argued back in forth, him shouting no I gave the wrong address, and me calmly stating yes I did. He held his ground but why would I give a wrong address? I need my stuff moved. He then said his truck was across the ferry in Aransas Pass. There is not a PODs facility in Aransas Pass and the address' given were in Corpus Cristi and Rockport. He said the truck spent too much time driving around already and we should just cancel your move. Complete unprofessionalism, and lack of competence, and to actually yell at a customer accusing them of lying, repeatedly. I had to deal with substantial predicaments due to not having my things moved. 0/10

Daniel went WAY out of his way to come help me, driving all the way from Corpus Christi to Bishop when he absolutely did not have to. But what impressed me most was what happened after he arrived. I had been instructed to pay a fee by my insurance company, and I was fully prepared to do it. Daniel took the time to actually research the situation himself and discovered that I apparently did not need to pay that fee at all. He could have easily accepted the money, but instead he refused to take it. Who does that?! When I was stressed, overwhelmed, and honestly in full panic mode, Daniel showed up, drove a long way on a holiday weekend, worked in the heat, and then went the extra step to make sure I wasn't paying something I didn't actually owe. That isn't just good customer service. That's integrity. In a world where it can feel like everyone is looking for a way to take your money, finding someone who genuinely cares about doing the right thing is rare. Daniel didn't just help me get out of a stressful situation. He looked out for me. I will be recommending Daniel and H & H to ALL of my friends and family for the rest of my life. Sadly this company's problems lies with its very sloppy & inexperienced employees. They cut every…read morecorner they could. Said they would use hurricane clips on the decking, they put a few in obvious places, but didn't do it everywhere. Said they would replace any decking that showed signs of previous water damage, but they didn't even pull up the old felt to inspect the decking! Shingled over the original, wrinkled roofing felt, leaving obvious waves. Many of the decking boards should have been replaced due to getting wet previously and are now swelling and covered in mold. They were supposed to strengthen the rafters in the attic due to changing the roof design from a hip style to a gable roof front. See photos for how poorly it was done. In less than 3 months, the shingles were cracking and dried out. The roof isn't sufficiently supported and has lines where it is sagging and caving in. Randy came out to look at it and said, "Well, its too late to do anything about that now." There are rafters spliced together with one nail holding it together. They didn't put the house wrap on correctly around the dormers (which were also very poorly constructed) and it leaked, causing mold to grow all over the ceiling. Based on my experience, I would never recommend Randy's Roofing for ANY job whatsoever.
