I give Kindred Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center a 5 star rating. My mother was a resident of…read morethe facility and she received a high standard of care, while there. Every time that I came to see her, the nursing staff was always so nice and informative about her care. They administrative staff made the admission and discharge process simple and understandable to my mother and our family. The level of care was just as high as their level of consideration and compassion for the residents. I was always greeted with a smile and good conversation. They made my mother and family feel like they were part of their Kindred family and made up feel right at home. I enjoyed the experience so much that a couple of years later, Kinston Rehab was one of my 1st choices that I sought for employment, after graduation from college. I was so excited when I was offered a job at the facility that once housed my mother. They took very good of my mom, as a resident and now they are doing the same for me, as an employee. Thanks Kinston Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

They demand that you be there 15 minutes prior to your appointment, but if you get seen by a doctor…read morewithin 2 hours after your scheduled appointment be thankful. The last time I was there, my appointment was at 4pm. I was there at 3:45pm and a guy who checked in at 4:30 for a 4:45 was seen within 10 minutes and I was still waiting to be called back. I got a lame excuse about Hispanics coming in for walk-ins and that set them back a bit. Sadly it takes me at least 2-2.5 hours to be seen every time I go there. I will be changing my doctor back to the one I was seeing 30 miles away. Even with the drive, It will be a lot faster.
