Things, which you probably don't need, but would be so nice to have, because they are so pretty and they make life a bit nicer. Only big brands, only for special occasions. Did I say only for big pockets? If you fancy Royal Worcester, Royal Doulton and Royal Copenhagen for your royal table - Weitz is the place to go. Along with piles and piles of beautiful china, they also sell electrical kitchen appliances, pots, pans and many other things for kitchen. You can also find glasses and cutlery there. Don't expect anything less than Christofle though. They also have quite a selection of children porcelain sets, which I think make beautiful gifts. Themes are both traditional and moderm, i.e. Benjamin Bunny and Die Maus can co-exist on one shelf. Very beautiful shop, worth visiting.
A shop that sells things made from all sorts of recycled materials like old vinyl, old oil drums, skateboards and so on. It's really nice creative stuff that is not too expensive. The owner is a really nice and friendly guy and everything they sell comes from the region and local artists. They will ship things for you and they have an online portal for further shopping. Go check it out and support local artists. We resisted the urge to shop a lot here :-) I specially loved Bob the tables and cabinets made from recycled oil drums. A gem of a shop in the city.

It's an Ikea. The layout here isn't the greatest, but it's not terrible. I can normally find the shortcuts to get to where I need to go pretty quickly. I had this at three stars, and then I ate here a couple of times. Seriously, the mashed potatoes are way better than they have any right to be. Oh, you can get totally decent Ikea-branded beer for 1€ a bottle. That's good enough for a bonus star right there.

After spending over €1000 at the store between the weekend and tonight, I would have been at least been treated with some basic pleasantries. I had just finished paying for and collecting my items and was proceeding to the main door, so I load my stuff into a taxi. When I inquired about taking the cart out to load my items, i was told she couldn't and motioned that I would just need to carry them curb side. Given the weight of the items I told her I wouldn't be able to as it was now 20:00 and she implied that is wasn't her problem and I would just need to figure it out. She was the absolute rudest customer service person I have ever encountered. This woman, if you could even call her that is the face of your organisation, one of the first faces that customers encounter when entering your shop and one of the last they see when leaving... and she is AWFUL, and has no sense of how to achieve customer satisfaction. If I was running your business the only place for someone with this attitude is somewhere in the back of the warehouse where she only needs to deal with flat pack furniture and boxes. That or unemployed. Ironically I just signed up for an Ikea Family membership... with family like this, I think I'd rather be orphaned and widowed.

The staff is highly knowledgeable, the shelves are stacked with an excellent selection of books, both literature and non-fiction (especially history, philosophy, and art), and what really sets this bookshop apart is the amount of beautiful, hardback editions on offer. Don't forget to check the upper floors, where a nice selection of artworks is on display (and for sale).
