First when she pierced me she failed to inform me she didn't have the typical jewelry for a mid helix until after she pierced me leaving me no option then to buy ugly, small, cheap piece of jewelry, otherwise I would've had to pay for just a hole in my ear that was gonna close in 5 mins. If I had know of this prior i would've simply not gotten a piercing at all. Then the cheap jewelry (which she charged separately from the actual piercing itself) falls out a week later I kid you not it was in for 8 days! When I called and ask to speak to her I asked politely if I could get a refund for the jewelry, I told her I was not expecting a full refund bc Ik the piercing itself was charged separately I just wanted the money back for the cheap jewelry bc I had to go replace it now, she replies "absolutely not" in a kind of 'are you stupid for asking' tone, which I thought was rude especially for someone who's working a customer service based job, and told me what she could do was give me a discount if I came in for a different piece of jewelry. Why would I have to pay again for something that was her mistake and for most likely another cheap piece that was probably gonna fall out again. I went to a complete different shop to get the jewelry replace and they did it for free not even knowing of the circumstances. She was also rude to my friend when she asked asked if they had any other jewelry for her piercing she replied "no" very sternly seeming annoyed when she could've simply said this is the only jewelry we carry, or it would be an up charge for a different piece of jewelry again especially considering she's working a customer service based job! The reason I say "DJ" in quotes is because he was never the one choosing the music the actual day of the wedding but rather brought along his guys, even though he had said that he does really well at reading the crowd and seeing when they are feeling the music. He hyped up about playing all this type of specific music at the wedding and the actual day of played songs that were never even requested. Keep in mind he makes sure to request songs ahead of time from you because that will be the only set list he will pull from but somehow played music we never requested to be put on that so called limited "set list". He replayed one song about three times throughout. EVEN WORSE, he continually would make unnecessary comments to the wedding coordinator and felt the need to speak to the maid of honor in such a arrogant sarcastic manner. It got to a point that the coordinator had to speak to him on the side to make sure to adjust his attitude. Lastly, it seemed nice at first but he fabricated a lot of what he says about the bride and groom whilst making announcements. After about the fourth lie, it got quite annoying especially as the bridal party knew that none of the things were true. He continually forgot the brides name although we had paid for an expensive TV screen that displayed for the bride and grooms names to be displayed. If you are looking for a strong attitude guy that is not all that he says he is especially not at a cheap price than he is the one.

I recall going back to the banquet room he was in and I really liked that he not only spoke to me, he also took the time to speak to my daughter. I knew he was the one I wanted for her Sweet 16. A year later, I reached out to him and WOW...he was not only professional but there is something about Marcel that makes you feel like family. He welcomed us to his home to go over the music we liked. He included my daughter by asking her for a list of music she wanted played as well. On the day of our event, so many of our guests complimented us on Marcel and the music. He was our MC and really just added that little extra special to the Sweet 16. I was really surprised and will forever be grateful for a few surprises Marcel and my daughter added to the program without me knowing. They added a special dance with my mom (grandma) and a dance with me and my daughter to our favorite song. I cried when I heard the song play and when I was asked to join my daughter on the dance floor. Marcel will forever be my go to person for all of our events to come.
