I stopped going to this HEB long ago because of its severe lacking in almost every section compared to other ones, plus I hate their parking lot. Recently, I only needed a couple items so I did curbside pickup. Should be easy enough right? Wrong. I hate their parking lot even more now because the curbside spaces are in the MIDDLE of it! Every other nearby one has curbside located on one of the sides of the building. When I finally realised the spaces were in the middle, there was only 1 open one... and soon I saw why as I watched at least 3 cars park and go into the store! Ughhh. Sat there for at least 10 minutes waiting. Oh did I mention you'll encounter some of the most idiotic drivers in Galveston county here too? I almost got into 2 accidents in that dumbazz parking lot on that trip alone. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I will say this isn't my favorite H-E-B location. It doesn't have some of the staples I'm used to like my cat's salmon and chick pea food (they only have chicken and chick pea) , the flower section is small and the vase selection non existent. They do have a really nice frozen section compared to other Hebs! I love their selection of lunch salads and sandwiches as well. read more

When I went to pick up my curbside order, I was unable to park since all 6 of the curbside parking spots were occupied. I had to circle the parking lot until I was finally able to get a spot. Then once I did park, it took maybe 10 minutes for someone to bring my order which doesn't make sense to me, considering that I was more than on time since I was already there for longer than my pickup window since I couldn't find a spot. Before I found a spot, I tried calling the store to ask if there was an alternate way for me to receive my order since all spots were occupied but no one answered the phone. Overall extremely frustrating experience.. I think something should be in place to make the curbside experience more pleasant. Maybe start with providing more curbside parking spots!! read more

Yeah I noticed a lot of negative reviews regarding HEBs..So I won't speak on the experiences of the other reviewers. I will say from my experience I had a very good time shopping this grocery store. I'm not sure if it's a regular weekly thing, but I found many great deals and coupons for items I was interested in. January 21, 2022 I live in Galveston This is my FIRST online order with HEB 19 items. 7-7:30am pick up/reservation... it's 7:44am and order is STILL NOT ready. No updates. No text Just 19 items. Calling now...been ringing 1:48 minutes Got thru at 7:50a Order isn't ready but they said to head that way. 8:33 am app still shows "in progress" No text. No email. WTH? Got there at 9sm. No signage you where pick up is. Drove around doing it by the pharmacy side of HEB. It's 9:04am. Instruction is to text F662 to 99147 I'm the only customer. Denise brought me my stuff 9:07am, she's real nice. Had no idea why my order wasn't updating me when it was ready. They had everything I ordered! read more

It's Thanksgiving morning and some cold medicine is needed. I check the H-E-B website and it says open till noon. We arrive at 11:30 and employees are standing outside telling us and everyone else they are closed and not allowing anyone inside. Other customers are standing flabbergasted and saying hours showing they are open till noon. An employee just shook his head. I called Food King and they said they were open till 2:00. Why advertise you're open until 12 noon on THANKSGIVING DAY then have employees standing outside waving customers away at 11:30? Great customer service, H‑E‑B! I understand employees want to go home to their families too but then don't say you're going to be open until a certain time then not be. Smaller H‑E‑B but well stocked and full of helpful employees. We came by to stock our vacation rental for a week of easy meals. H‑E‑B had everything we could possibly need (and more). The parking lot here is a hot mess, so bring an extra measure of patience to navigate cars, weirdly placed entrance/exits to the roadway and an eye for shoppers. read more

I would give 4 stars but the customer service at the self checkout is horrible! Damn the woman helping me had a very bad attitude and acted as if she rather be talking to her coworker and on the cell phone and not helping people. Pharmacy Service was horrible. I came through the pharmacy to pick up a prescription WITH INSURANCE. I had to pay out of pocket and come back IN PERSON to be issued a refund. I came on june 29th in the morning. I spoke with a manager about the situation and there was no resolution. read more

I love my HEB! They have homemade fresh tortillas and an awesome bakery. Can always count on them for our family's birthday cakes. read more

This H‑E‑B sucks. Small selection, rude employees, and overpriced considering the limited options/quality.

This HEB is nice although cramped the store does take sometime getting used to but has all my favorite items at a low price. Never have i seen spills, trash or bad food. The employees move as fast as they can managers are nice and the outside crew usually are on top of there being plenty of baskets and always charge the automatic ones! Now i will say this place is used to being humping! It is almost always packed until about 11pm. So needless to say parking is very scarce and very hard for handicapped parking to get in and out as well. I recommend this HEB fir quick runs and late night snack runs! read more

The new HEB I love the new HEB, BUT they need to train their Customer Service kids to count money. What is 10 x 20? or any other numbers that end with 0. The young lady today had to make little piles dispersed all over the counter in order to come up with a simple round number. Of course, when I mentioned that all she needed to do is count the number of bills and multiply, she got confrontative. Please, teachers. teach your students simple math. Please, HEB, test your employee's math skills. read more

Great store, great staff but the shopping experience & the parking is horrible. Rude customers. You have no control over your shoppers. You have young adults and kids that drive those scooters around the store,talking on cell phones & cutting off other shoppers.Kids running around crazy; young adults eating bags of chips or fruit from the store, as they walk around store.Parking is horrible. Terrible Quality Control TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Home Delivery is AWFUL placed an order for home delivery, when the order arrived it was not my order. Nothing, completely wrong. I contacted customer service and they rescheduled. second attempt, delivered to the wrong house, fortunately the neighbor was home and directed delivery to my house. delivery handed me the bags and left. when I unpacked a number of items were missing. I contacted customer service. they said they would contact the driver and see if they had my missing items. if not the store would schedule a delivery of the missing items. said they would call and let me know when the items would be delivered. after three hours and no call, I called customer service. I was placed on hold for 45 minutes. I was then told "the delivery driver said everything was delivered" there's nothing we can do. I this point I got angry because in addition to everything else, I'm being called a liar. After asking numerous times whom I needed to contact next, manager, supervisor, etc. being placed on hold again, they agreed to refund the money for the missing items. HEB should invest some of the money they dump into TV commercials that say customer service is a priority and use it to train their employees to do their jobs. when you call customer service the wait time is 25-30 minutes. if they have this many people trying to reach customer service, that's an indication your customer service sucks. read more

I ordered my daughters birthday cake A MONTH in advanced. I called the morning of just to insure it would be ready on time. I was reassured it would be ready by 12, the time I ordered it for. My daughters party began at 2. I showed up at 1:45 to pick up the cake and it wasn't ready. They said they were "finishing" it up. They lied. They had me go to pay for it while they "finished" but when I returned they were still putting finishing touches on it, so I thought. They handed me a BLANK CAKE!! BLANK!!! No "happy birthday" nothing!!!! I was like ummm excuse me? Where is the happy birthday?! They took another look and apologized and went to put the designs and happy birthday on it, you know, the way I ordered it!! Now, we are VERY LATE to the party, I haven't even set up yet. H-E-B bakery has helped ruin my daughters 4th birthday. read more

the closing asm today literally told me to get my things and pay out, when i worked customer service, we were never allowed to tell customers to leave like that. the ginger asm with the nasally voice is so rude lol i was literally walking to the registers and he was like "ma'am you need to grab you items and head to the front" and i held up a thumbs up and he continues to tell me their hours. it was so rude lol read more
