This location needs to be demolished and rebuilt after greater than 2 decades has gone by with dirty "looking" floors and shelves, narrow aisles, and limited selection while the craft beer selection is surprisingly good. Shopping carts look like they're infested with COVID and/or you need a tetanus shot after handling. No small carts just the large ones. No rock salt. Gas pumps are awkward to get in/out. Service friendly. HEB please rebuild like Burnet store. And please build HEB in Llano. read more

We don't have H-E-B in my home town of Charlotte North Carolina so I wanted to stop in here and see what all the hubbub is about. I found a tidy and well stocked store that had friendly associates and reasonable prices. Nothing particularly blew me away and I didn't spot any great bargains but it does look to be a pleasant shopping experience and it is a full service grocery store. This review is largely about produce and H-E-B's home delivery shoppers (not the delivery people, who are excellent). We love the huge variety in the store, and maybe I'm being too picky (after all, we live in a land of incredible plenty), but: (1) Fresh fruit is sometimes a problem. For example, melons of all kinds are always so under-ripened that they're inedible (or far from sweet enough) for days (and one may not realize they're ripe until they're TOO ripe and have to be discarded). Strawberries are particularly poor, being large and (artificially?) red but full of tasteless white/pink pulp. For strawberries, very large is usually bad, not good. (2) The employee-shoppers for pickup and home delivery sometimes miss things. We understand that some items may not be available, and if there's no substitution order the item must be deleted; but it's very frustrating to live half an hour from the store and find common things missing from the delivery that we KNOW are in the store. read more

A bit more than a pantry HEB. They have beer and wine. But honestly, whoever organized this store must have intentionally designed it so that the customer would have to walk every inch of the store when buying 3 or 4 essentials. 7 possible lanes. 72 parking spots plus handicap Gas station in the lot It'll get the job done. Did I mention it's small? No more than 3 carts in a line or the aisle behind the registers are blocked. Luckily, everyone is friendly or this would be miserable. read more

This is the smallest HEB I've ever been to. Our company had an offsite nearby in cabins and I needed to get some groceries. Don't expect a large selection of anything. Especially organics. They don't have bulk bins. Surprised they didn't have Firemen 4 beer. The organization of the of this store was odd. It was difficult to find things. The place had a weird vibe. Not like weird as the one on S. Congress, which is Austin weird. Couple of my coworkers had to make a run to HEB and said the same thing to me regarding the weirdness. I have just returned home following 4 yrs of unexpected departure. I missed my HEB so went in for 4 things and like always, my cart was full in no time. LOL... cashier was polite and attentive even though they were out of the last item I requested. Ooops.. I left my $ in the car. I asked cashier to suspend order so I can retrieve my funds. I return in just moments, and am told I must get back in line . Ok ,NOW six carts are in line.... waited for 2 more checkouts and decided NOT worth it. I walked. I was surprised to see that they have many brands I was not expecting a smaller store to carry such as some organic, natural, and speciality brands. For being small they have a lot and it gets the job done!
