First things first it looked beautiful, colourful and intriguing. The 2 poached eggs were well cooked, sitting on top of two rather large crumbed potato cakes. Definitely had a japanesey flavour (bonito perhaps), the outer coating was light and crispy. But as I ate more I felt there was too much potato in each bite .. maybe the it should have been thinner, or something added with the potato to give it more texture. Only opened a week ago - so might take a bit of time for them to get into the groove. I like that they're trying some new ideas, worth giving them another try but I'll wait a few months. Wifi - no but on its way according to staff. Newspapers - no. Music - Not sure if they're trying to be ironic but it was very prominent and they were playing 80s/90s (bit like Gold104 without ads), not my cup of tea for a cafe.
