Family Trust Federal Credit Union does not care at all about its customers. I calculated my bills…read morewrong and overdrafted by $1. Only one dollar! They charged me a $32 over draft fee and when I called they refused to refund it. They said it was able to over draft because I had over draft protection in my account. First of all, if you open an account here, they automatically give you over draft protection so I didn't know it was on my account. But what it actually means is that if there is a charge to your account that is over the amount of money you have available, they will okay the charge, but charge you $32 every time. They call it protection because they let the charge go through and avoided you a few from the other company. What? That is only so they can make money off of you themselves. Do not open an account here. And if you have one, close it. These people are only here to rip you off and make money off of you. You'd be better off stashing your money away some where at home. Worst. Bank. Ever. Also, just to add icing on the cake, their "processing and pending charges" that show up online May not be the only ones processing or pending. Sometimes they just don't show up. Not a problem they're looking to fix though. Thanks for nothing but continuous headaches Family Trust. I can't wait to close my account first thing in the morning.
