So doing two in one. 2018 -I moved to SC and wasn't sure how to do my taxes as my previous state didn't have State income Tax. Natalie was super nice and got me set up. Matt listened and answered all of my questions. My Taxes where done in a breeze! 2019- They helped me out with some complex issues I had that were from a few years back and that I didn't know until last year. Jesse was super helpful and made it very easy for me to understand. 2020- I moved once again and now to Texas. My taxes will once again be a bit hectic not only because of the move, but also because of Covid-19. I will not trust anyone else to do my taxes than Newton CPA.

What we found to be disappointing was when we came in to pay and pick up our documents Jesse sat 10 feet from where we were standing and did not make an effort to say hello or thank us for our business. He was clearly available as he answered the admin assistants question she asked on behalf of us. The client care piece was clearly missing. The admin assistant was lovely to deal with.

They then refused to use a telephone to correct the issue. This business seems to ONLY want to do business over email. Well, I tried that. The picture below shows how many attempts I made to get my meeting rescheduled. After the fifth attempt, I FINNALY got a response saying they are now closed tor the season! Haha! The same email explained they would be back in the office on August 18th and to reach back out at that time to continue where we left off. I had no choice since they had all my original tax documents and I could not retrieve them. I waited patiently for this time to arrive. They just returned back to the office at the said time and notified me that since I missed the onboarding call on April 22 that they refused to reschedule, they are not taking on any clients. If you are a high net-worth client like myself, I would avoid this company like the plague. They are unresponsive (as shown below), they lack systems to help when a client cant get into a meeting, they have no issue lying about revisiting your tasks after their promise to do so.

A major unresolved concern is access to my historical QuickBooks records, which I have requested but have been unable to obtain. These records are important to my business and to having another professional review my financial affairs. I have been left without clear answers about what work was completed, what remains outstanding, and who was responsible for handling it. This has created significant frustration and uncertainty. I understand that financial matters can be complicated. I expect a professional firm to communicate clearly, be accountable, and provide access to my business records. Based on my experience, I would not use this firm again.
