They just did the work without discussing money then hit me with a sky high rate at the end. Nobody Ive ever seen does work then sets the rate afterwards. I personally think they saw I was getting a nice refund I wasn't expecting and jacked the price up on me. If you use them make good and sure you find out how much their services cost up front or they will hammer you when they complete the work. I would not recommend them.

They were willing to review my materials before i sent them into the revenue service, however, it was very difficult to even be seen here. I spent hours preparing all of my documentation on my own wondering why i even payed these people the amount of money i did. So, I figured ok its over I will never be audited again. Well i was audited for the second time the following year and again no assistance or backup from my tax people again. I will never go to this place again and i assure you that if anything happens involving an audit you will receive little to no support in the matter. As soon as I walked in the door I was warmly greeted by a friendly teller, who was happy to see me because she was the person who opened my account years ago and had returned back to this branch. This relationship banking is something that I value the most about my membership here. I am treated and valued as a person instead of just a number. It doesn't matter if you open an account with just $5. This deposit gives you a share of ownership in the credit union. This particular branch is very special to me for its interior design. Framed old black and white photographs of the City of Roanoke compliment its rustic architectural design, pointing to the historical significance of the Star City of the South. And it also highlights this credit union's mission. Freedom First Credit Union's mission is to help people prosper and communities thrive. To them, "Where People Bank for Good," is not just a neat slogan, it means that they utilize their members collective resources, resulting from their shared success, to be an economic catalyst in our community and improve the quality of life for everyone.
