I initially chose Allstate insurance for new homeowners insurance and auto insurance policy with a…read moreprevious agent, Katie, was working there. She gave me excellent information and customer service. However, right before the policies were to go into effect, she left and I was working with another agent. After I had received several quotes from Katie, this other agent sent me new quotes for more money. Then, after I paid my auto insurance policy in full I received a bill from them stating that they didn't charge me enough and I owed more money. This particular agent made a derogatory comment about Katie, and those two things initially set off the red flag. The final straw was when I had sent several emails to both this agent and The owner of the company, April, and did not receive any replies. This has gone on numerous times without a response from this company. Customer service is severely lacking. I feel that if I can't even get good customer service for basic questions, that I can't rely on them if a claim ever arose. Therefore, I changed my insurance carrier after only two months to Rockingham insurance. The agent that I'm working with there, Joe, responds in a quick manner and always answers all my questions in A pleasant manner.
