I came here to get my taxes done, it was a very simple lodgement. Filled in my details, waited for 10 minutes and then was seen by Mammen. They were experiencing email difficulties so that's why I had to wait. Mammen was efficient and pleasant and explained everything to me. I'd forgotten my bank details so he said that I could email him when I got home. I did that and realised that he said they were having email troubles, so I called to confirm and he said that he was just about to go home and I had just caught him. DON'T EVER COME HERE!! H&R Block Prahran, Australia were absolutely useless... the "return" that they completed for me ended up with more problems than if I had just completed it myself!!! They are uneducated and unaware of the rules and regulations with the ATO. I had my tax return completed by Mammen in July and was left with a notice to pay $2500 from the ATO because they made huge mistakes in my return. Speaking with the ATO, they were surprised at how badly H&R Block completed my return and advised me to file an amendment on my own. When I tried calling H&R Block Prahran, they were always too busy to speak to me and refused to answer my emails. What a waste of money!! I could have filed my taxes on my own and saved myself the money and hassle from these incompetent idiots! read more
