So since I have to get them out of the way, I'm glad to have Jolene with Ansbrotax on my side. This is the first year that she's assisted me with my taxes. Side note: her father used to do my mother's taxes for a number of years. In any case, it's nice to see Jolene carrying on the family biz. She's professional, friendly, and gets the job done in a timely manner. I always felt like I was in good hands, and that she was looking after my best interests. While I still wound up owing Uncle Sam a considerable sum this year, I'm sure the amount would've been significantly higher without Jolene's watchful eye. She's an accountant, after all, not a miracle worker. At the end of the day, I would highly recommend Ansbrotax. And I'll probably be back again next year for my next governmental root canal. : )

Deeply Unprofessional and Biased Service Post-Divorce…read more I used Jolene-AnsbroTax for over 20 years, but my experience drastically changed when my business partner and I went through a divorce. Despite being a 50% owner of our family business, I was subjected to clear bias, poor communication, and a complete lack of professional respect. As a equal stakeholder, I am legally and ethically entitled to the same level of service and access to information as my business partner. However, after many months and seven separate written requests for our 2025 financial documents, I received nothing but constant delays, non-responses, and blatant stall tactics. Even though all services were fully paid for, she chose to provide the vital financial documents exclusively to my ex-wife while completely icing me out. This behavior is incredibly biased, unethical, and unprofessional. I have officially reported her actions to the CFP Board. I strongly advise any business owners going through structural or personal changes to look elsewhere for objective, trustworthy tax services.

Never received a return call. Now I have to scramble to find someone to do my taxes - I'm not very happy with Jack at this point.

We lost our home and all our possessions in the 2017 Tubbs fire but escaped with our lives. We had been insured with Keith for many years but suddenly realized that who we had as an agent and the company that insured us were going to be of critical importance. We evacuated from the fire in the wee hours of the morning and finally landed at a hotel. That night, out of the blue, my cell phone rang and it was Keith calling us at 8pm. We didn't know yet whether or not we had lost our house but he took the initiative to reach out to us knowing that our home was at risk. He explained in simple language that we had good coverage, gave us his personal cell phone number, and told us to call him directly if we needed anything. I can't explain the sense of relief I had when we received that call of support and reassurance, but I do remember my tears of gratitude when I hung up the phone. The next day we were notified that our home was gone. Keith helped us every step of the way through a long journey that has culminated in the completion of rebuilding a beautiful new home on our property. I would highly recommend him and his organization to anyone who is looking for honesty and integrity in an insurance agent.

I was happy I found her office when I purchased my car and now have a great life insurance and renter's ins. policy through her agency. She has me on several discounts on the car ins. policy; since I've been a "safe" driver and loyal to state farm, I look forward to continued business there! More than "saving on my premiums" or basing my ratings on the price, I value the benefits, service, and breadth of coverage more than anything. I understand State Farm has "products" they need to sell but Rebekah doesn't push them on you unless you're interested. As a law student working in insurance bad faith litigation, I understand the recent consumer reports statistic that only 10 percent of 19,000 insurance subscribers would actually save anything by switching insurance companies (don't fall for the gecko), and I am a firm believer of loyalty to companies that are good to you and who are top-rated.

My CPA said that, wow, we had done a really great job! Gail taught me to a much simpler method of record keeping--so logical that I'm actually proud of myself now filing my receipts regularly in a far easier system. Compared to before Gail's intervention and the torture of that tough year, I now actually look forward to dealing with the bookkeeping and tax filing this year, believe it or not. I retained Raff Law in January 2021 for judgment-enforcement work and remained a client for several…read moreyears. Unfortunately, my experience over that period became increasingly frustrating because of communication, case-management, and billing concerns. During my representation, there were multiple personnel changes involving people handling my matter. I was never informed when these personnel changes occurred. I only learned about them from administrative staff after I contacted the firm to ask why my emails or requests were not being answered. I frequently had to chase the firm for case updates, and responses often took a long time. My billing concerns also began well before the eventual dismissal of an enforcement action. I received charges for case-status communications, clerical and administrative work, and for obtaining information that I had already gathered and provided to the firm. Another troubling example involved Nevada. I was charged for work relating to a Nevada filing that, as I later discovered, never took place. I did not learn that the filing had not been completed until years later. After I raised the issue, the firm refunded part of the charges associated with that work. My greatest concern occurred in 2025. In my view, sufficient diligence was not performed before pursuing an enforcement action, which was ultimately dismissed in June 2025. I was not notified that the case had been dismissed. I learned about the dismissal later by reviewing the firm's invoices. I was also billed for work associated with finalizing the dismissed matter. I subsequently raised questions about the firm's billing and handling of my matter. On June 12, 2026, Dan Raff confirmed to me in writing that my $7,500 deposit remained in the firm's trust account. After months of trying to obtain clarification and resolve these issues, I formally terminated Raff Law's representation on August 14, 2026. I requested my client file, a final accounting, information about the status of my judgment-enforcement matter, and return of the trust funds to which I am entitled. I followed up repeatedly and contacted multiple people at the firm, including another follow-up on September 1. As of September 30, 2026, I have received no response regarding the release of my client file, a final accounting, or the return of my trust funds. After being a client since 2021, I am extremely disappointed with the level of communication, billing transparency, case management, and the way the conclusion of my representation has been handled. This review reflects my personal experience and is based on the invoices and written communications I have retained.
