Paul had been assisting one…read moreof my employees with his taxes for the last several years and as of this tax season there was some sort of difference of opinion between Paul and my employee about billing or tax preparation. In an effort to help determine what the problem was I called Paul to try and see if there was any way I could help with the situation. The assistant picked up and was kind enough to connect me with Paul. I introduced myself and asked a couple questions to see if I could help and the phone cut out. Shortly thereafter I called back, was reconnected to Paul. Paul yelled a couple random things in the phone and hung up on me a second time before I could get a word in edge-wise. I tried back a third time, giving Paul the benefit of the doubt with the hopes of getting a chance to have a basic discussion for 2 minutes and see what is going on. Paul picks up the phone directly and immediately yells at me telling me it's tax season, I am wasting his time and he is busy doing taxes, etc. I have no experience working with Paul prior to this day and I can guarantee he will not get a recommendation from me anytime soon. I hope this is just one bad day for Paul but I see nothing Professional about the way I was addressed by Paul at the Tax Professionals.

When I went back I questioned them again based on information I read off of the IRS website and some other information I was told to ask about and the way I was spoken to for "questioning their ability to do their jobs" was quite frankly appalling. That is not how you speak to fairly new clients. I have the right to ask about my money. They very rudely told me to seek out another business to do my taxes. i refrained myself from going off. I would not recommend this company to do your taxes especially if you have a complicated return. I will gladly take my business elsewhere and I would suggest you do the same. No client should be spoken to in the manner that I was especially questioning certain things.

I've always assumed that small town business thrive or perish on reputation but these guys are just plain rip-offs. On top of it all, she is arrogant, unprofessional and very self entitled. Run from this firm.

Understandably, I dropped off my package with supporting documentation 1 week before the April 15th…read moredeadline and asked for an extension. They were very busy and stated so - I was in agreement. Almost 1 full month passed, so I left a voicemail to inquire if there were any further questions regarding filing status. 2 working days went by without even an acknowledgement or return call so I dropped by his office. I didn't even make it into the office and he greets me at the door, blocking it. He stated that he could get me in 'in about 2 or 3 week's' to further discuss. I replied that I was about to sell my home and taxes were needed for same. He then said 'what do you expect - you dropped off a whole bunch of s**t to me'. Accordingly, all supporting documentation was provided, totalled by month for each expenditure, and neatly presented. I asked why a return call for acknowledgement was not furnished. He said 'no, I think we're done here' and he gave me everything back. The extension was filed however. In hindsight I feel that was the best recourse, as I would always have reservations as to his honesty. He was far too jumpy and flippant. If you're having a bad day, no need to vent your frustrations on a willing patron. Bad, combative attitude.
