While I can't fault the employees of the People's Bank branches I've used at Anacortes, Oak Harbor,…read moreand Burlington, I've never had a bank screw up more often than this bank, and I finally had to close my account and move to Skagit Bank(which is GREAT!). Among the problems I've experienced are: 1) inability to access my account or use my People's debit card for an entire weekend, which People's blamed on a problem with a firm that they rely on in New York to maintain accounts and 2) People's phone system going down, which again made debit card use impossible, and I could not call any of their customer service numbers.....again, this happened over a weekend
