Rather than opting for Turbo Tax and shuffling through all of the paperwork to do it ourselves we…read moredecided to go to Liberty Tax. This choice was also influenced by a small business adventure started last year and first time doing taxes for it, meaning we wanted a professional. The initial scheduling was very easy and received support immediately with what to bring and what made sense for us given our new and unique circumstances to us. We were thankful for that. At our appointment we got in, filled out a brief check in sheet and immediately sat down with our advisor. He got right to work sorting through the paperwork, organizing and inputting our information. We were explained things along the way and we were able to ask questions as needed. At the end they showed us how all the numbers worked out and what our refund would be. You get all the typical options of bank routing or check in the mail for state and federal. The fee from them was 175 to do our taxes jointly. Which is exactly in line for doing it ourselves with turbo tax. Taxes aren't exciting and I was thankful Liberty took that burden from us this year and greatly simplified it.

So to edit my post, Mary actually didnt know how to file a tax return as admitted by the manager. She was let go and I filed my taxes the first week in February and it is July 22 and I still do not have my tax return. This company is a fraud and I wouldn't go anywhere near them.
