The patriarchy is starting to get senile when they refuse to work for a woman who is divorced... that is half of married women! I can't believe the outright discrimination - it's shocking. If you are a woman or man, please don't support beliefs and organizations like this one. I was never a raging feminist, but this treatment of women has to stop.

I had been working in the US and not filed right and the CRA was saying I owed a ton of money. The folks at Valeriote went back and forth with the CRA for almost a year. Eventually, we did owe a little but we got back much more than we owed when it was all said and done. I highly recommend their services!

Used services for personal, corporate and estate starting 2022. Started having tax charges never…read moreseen before, would never call me or email to tell me filings were ready and repeated phone calls not answered nor direct voice mails to owner. Estate filing - final clearance form - told submitted. Kept calling on status. After a year - which is waiting patiently, they expressed surprise it was not completed. I called CRA directly and had to wait another 3 months because they needed to validate I was the executor. Finally on confirmation could answer my question and told me there was no filed clearance certificate on hand. Gobsmacked after many direct calls with owner. I repeatedly phoned office to ask if possible mistake, what happened, can we get filed ...after 3 weeks of regular phone calls and telling me owner not in office they then stopped answering my phone calls. I went to do it on my own, and realized they had my original detailed preparation documents. Said I was coming down to get them and have them ready the next day. Owner suprised i was doing this - after i left a voicemail and email. Went down - he handed me a completed form that had never been submitted from October 2024. I was again gobsmacked but did not want to get into it as damage done I had to ask - why did you not file this? His answer - you never came to sign it. How is that possible ? Did you tell me it was ready? I phoned and emailed repeatedly / daily for 3 weeks before xmas holidays in December 2025. I spoke to receptionist who passed on messages to you. I left you direct VM and emails. No answer. No come down to sign. His answer - too long ago for me to remember. I said that does not make sense- 3 weeks of calling - his answer ..'just stuff...i dropped the ball'.

My 2022 Tax return was completed by someone in this firm. During the re-assessment CRA requested a…read moreparticular form to be submitted for foreign taxes. Three times the wrong form was sent, CRA now adding interest charges and withholding all tax rebates until this issue is resolved. The effort made by the staff member to resolve this situation was minimal,.. blame being laid on CRA when in fact the tax return was not completed with the required forms. We are now heading into another tax return and this situation has not yet been resolved. I have hired a new accountant who dove deeper into the issues, contacted CRA himself, and managed to re-send the whole return, this time with the appropriate documents. Having written the owner to voice my complaint,...with no result, no response...I am posting this negative review to forewarn others of the shoddy service provided by Complete Tax and Business Services.
