HORRENDOUS!!! I wish I had read the reviews calling him a…read morescammer before we hired him. Our family had hired Greg to protest property taxes on our behalf annually. Then suddenly one year, he provided no notice, and simply forgot to protest our property taxes, so of course the taxes went up. Had he told us, we would have hired someone else or done it ourselves. (By the way, its not hard to protest your taxes, if you google it, you can do it yourself online. It just takes time.) Fast forward a year, Greg sends me a letter that he is putting a lien against my house unless I pay him for something that I don't believe I owe him for. If someone puts a lien against your house, you can lose your house. In my opinion, this is an abuse of his position as a lawyer. I am going to file a complaint with the better business bureau and look into other options.

When we had another real professional go through and redo our taxes for all the years he supposedly did them, they found all kinds of exemptions he had missed and we learned that we should have received refunds for those years instead of owing money.

It seems I get less and less back each year. Then the manager looks at me stupid when I'm watching them fill out my paper work. Same stupid a$$ look every year. Also I'm self employed and feel that they think I'm dumb or don't understand anything. She didn't ask about my address or how much I make a month. She just pretty much looks at my w2 and assumed I was still working there at that location which I had gotten fired from 11 months ago. Overall just never doing that again. I wanted to express how badly Roberto treated me during this tax filing. I was a customer of his…read morefor many years. I recently began asking questions because I had done some research on filing under a Schedule C instead of Schedule E. I'm learning everyday, so I assumed I could ask my tax professional for guidance. Instead, Roberto discouraged me indicating there were no benefits or reason for filing as a Schedule C. I sent him documentation which made sense to file as Schedule C. He reluctantly proceeded processing them. I had more questions, but then he wrote to me stating, "You are too much work for me.. I won't file your taxes. Go find a new accountant." Just like that. After being a customer for so many years this is how he treated me. This was not the first time he was unprofessional, by the way. The previous year, I had started asking questions when he completed the filings; his response to me was, "I get a sense that you are trying to avoid paying me." I confronted him about his lack of professionalism then since I had never failed to pay him in the past. Why I decided to write this review is because I've learned so much from my new accountant. She indeed confirmed that I absolutely should be filing as a Schedule C and explained several benefits and reasons behind this. She also confirmed that as a client, I should ALWAYS ask questions and not blindly allow an accountant to file without knowing what they are doing. It's important to ask questions because ultimately the client has to answer to the IRS. I was so grateful to have found a professional moving forward who truly knows accounting tax laws and also respects you as a client. Roberto in the end proofed he doesn't know what he is doing. He prefers to take the "easy rode, don't ask questions" approach. He disrespects you and makes you feel as if you are wrong for wanting to know more. This is not the kind of accountant who deserves business as he is ungrateful and very unprofessional.

One would think that the firm would handle long term clients with the same professionalism , but not the case . Stuart handed over our returns for the last few years to underlings who cost us a great deal of money . He had me sending documents multiple times and claim he never received them ( even after our financial advisor confirmed) he couldn't bother to send over a basic Obama care healthcare form that i sent in and cost us $.. he began to charge us erroneous fees for consulting that was never done and this year wanted to charge twice for his fees ( my wife and i have Sep names) ., no apologies ever.. when i inquired specifically about his fee structure for 2026 he told me an amount . He then proceeded to charge me over that amount and when addressed multiple times - did nothing .. non professional and non communicative .. sad that after 28 years we have to find representation elsewhere.
