His professional excellence and patience helped me save thousands of dollars from mistakes in my past filings that should have been returned to me. If you are looking for a trustworthy and experienced accountant at a reasonable price to save you money, you do not have to look further! I sold my house in Arizona for a big loss back in 2014, and my former accountant made a mistake and did not get me a large sum of money that I'm entitled to, over $18,000 to be exact. During my filing for 2017 return with Mr. Li, he spotted the error and worked with me for long hours to sort out a pile of years of my past tax returns. To be honest it was a mess, but throughout the whole thing Mr. Li did not lose his patience one bit and really spent the time to analyze my situation and worked on how to amend the mistakes. Only with his detailed explanation during this tedious process did I start to see the complexity of the NOL (Net Operating Loss) that carries across multiple years and how the mistakes were made and affected me. Eventually he helped me file two amendments, one to the State of CA requesting a return of over $5,000 and another to Federal for over $13,000. So far, I have received the state return and am still waiting for the federal return. Overall, I just feel that a great accountant is not one who just has years of experience and expertise, apparently Mr. Li has all that, but more importantly a great accountant is someone who cares about your finances like his own! Make sure to call in and make an appointment before you come in during tax season because it can get super busy even if they have 3 that works at the same time. Parking spaces are decent because they have a backlot that is able to hold 6-7 cars and street parking is available as well.
