The selection of clothing is fine. The precautions taken are fine. My bad experience centered around it's horrible customer service, and two stars is being generous. I was the last one in line. There were three sets of people ahead of me with one register open. I say "sets" because each person in that set had their own separate transactions. A second cashier came and took the next set off the one line that was formed. At this point there were 3-4 more people after me. Suddenly it was my turn and as I went to the register, someone else formed their own line and the cashier took her. I informed the cashier there was a line of people who were waiting and she said she opened the second line. I said she should've informed the 10 people on this line that have been waiting patiently. She did not address me and continued to process the other persons order. The other cashier was with the customer for at least 7 minutes, waiting for the customer to make a phone call. Still no one was informed of that second line. Finally the first cashier told another worker to inform the now 15 people BEHIND me that there was a second line. There is clearly a lack of training and common sense taking place at this branch. Lack of communication and lack of fairness. read more

I love H and M but can we open the dressing rooms please??? What an inconvenience! I have to buy clothes and return what isn't right. Ugh

Came yesterday for something i saw online. Not a single employee walking around the store to get help from. Not one person in the dressing room, its like a free for all.... and to top it off, there are NO DOORS!!! The dressing room has curtains which never fully close. A lady actually walked into mine, luckily i was only trying on a top. smfh. I found what i needed and proceeded to go to the line which i was the only one. So why did i wait almost 20min, bc the 2 novice workers there were chit chatting about hair-do's. One was casually ringing up the customer and the other chic was folding bras... BRA'S! Now i'm no expert but wtf folds bras? Finally, Mrs bra folder asked me to come over to get rung up all while still chatting. No hello, no acknowledgment and no "good day".... just threw my receipt in the bag and handed me my stuff. It must be an H&M thing were the employees just don't give a fck. read more

This is a pretty decent H&M for being in a not so popular mall. The layout is bigger then the one at Roosevelt and there is a lot more open space. I tend to come here when I want to go to H&M on Long Island because it is not as crowded and it always has everything in stock. Sometimes the line can be long on a weekend but it still is shorter then the disaster that you will run into at Roosevelt Field. read more

I was wondering if all H&M stores have a co-ed fitting rooms that have curtains for the dressing areas instead of doors with locks on them? I was at the Hicksville, NY location at the Broadway Mall on Thursday, January 28th around 5:30pm. I had picked up a few items to try on, and went into the fitting room - only to see about 5 teenage boys hanging out in there. They were fooling around going into the dressing areas where no one was, laughing loudly and obnoxiously. I tried on my items, changed, and left to get different sizes. Upon my return to the fitting room, those boys were still in there. I went into a different dressing area than I was previously and closed the curtain (the boys saw me go into the area and close the curtain). The dressing area next to me was occupied by two people, and they were giggling and speaking in Spanish to each other (so I don't know what was said), but there were no clothes being tried on (no sounds of hangers or usual sounds you would hear in the room next to you). I was trying on my items when all of a sudden one of the boys hanging outside the areas slowly walked by my curtain, and then opened the curtain slowly to peek in on me. Luckily, I was facing the curtain at the time, as I was about to undress out of the clothes I was trying on. The boy then opened the curtain completely and walked away laughing, saying "sorry" after I yelled "Excuse me!!". While I know you cannot control the actions of teenage boys, my complaint is that there were no staff members in the fitting rooms for assistance, and there was no manager taking care of the situation of teenage boys loitering in the fitting room. Additionally, I would rethink the curtains/co-ed dressing room areas if situations like this are going occur. I am embarrassed and irritated by the situation. read more

Last Saturday (9/29/2018) my friend who came to visit, my son and I went to H&M located in Broadway mall at Hicksville, NY to exchange a pair of sweat pant that I bought for my son. While I was in there, the lady came out of nowhere claiming that she was the manager of the store and she saw us putting clothes in our bag. She tried to go inside my bag without my permission; I told her no. She said she got us on camera, and she already called the cops. We waited about 30 to 40 minutes, and the cops never showed. A guy in the store who claimed he was the head of security told us that we couldn't exchange anything at the store, we have to go to a different store. I told him that we are not leaving until the police come. He said that the police are going to take a long time to come...that's when I called 911 myself. I waited about 15 - 20 mins for them to come. I explained everything to them. One went to the back and spoke to her and when he came back out. This so called manager who represent the brand (H&M) did not even have the decency to come outside and apologized to us. I didn't' even get her name. No police report was done. I asked the police for the cards. They didn't have any. The only thing I got was their name and their shield id number. I felt really bad. I don't think we were treated fairly. It was very disrespectful on her part. When I got home, I called H&M customer service to make a complaint. I really hope this never happens to anyone else. I haven't stepped inside H&M in years due to too-much-hype and constant disappointment but I was pleased to find a lot of apparel I liked at this location. It's much bigger than the H&M at Roosevelt Field Mall. read more

Big selection here except for the kids stuff. I think that could be improved a bit but other than that the salespeople are helpful and the space is big and does not feel cramped. The fitting room could stand to be a bit bigger too but they are working with the space they were given. read more

Probably the most organized H&M store I've ever visited. The floors are clean and it's actually easy to find things. They have a huge store and a wide variety but I find that the prices tend to be much higher than those of other H&M stores. The customer service is average I never had a problem and the fitting rooms are more organized than other H&M's. This store is located in Broadway mall so the parking is easy unless you park right near the movie theatre. I usually go late at night so I can shop a little then see a movie. It is also convenient because there is lots of places to eat at nearby. They usually take all coupons and I personally like this store the best. I just wish they HD the same prices across the board. read more

I love H&M and have been a long time customer. But the store in Broadway mall aggravated me to no extent. A few years ago I was shopping in this particular store and was being followed by one of the store employees as if I was going to steal something. I was not dressed poorly I had jeans and a sweatshirt on and had money to burn in that store. I would like to take a moment to say whoever that manager or employee was is a real sad individual to assume I would have stolen anything considering you are the one working a minimum wage job in the mall and I was making close to 6 figures. Do yourself and your customers a big service and try not to ASSume the worst of people. In other words don't judge a book by it's cover!!!! read more
