My experience with Jay has been absolutely horrific. Her & her team are so unorganized that I would…read morehope no one else experiences this. You pay for a service that is undelivered, ultimately. I needed a legal document created & notarized. She sent me a rough draft and told me to go into her supposed office in Fresno to look over and notarize it.. I told her I live in the mountains and it takes me an hour to drive to Fresno.. We agreed on a time and I asked for her address, she never provided it. When I went down to Fresno with our appointment time, hoping she would send it while I was driving, she still was MIA. Then, had one of her representatives contact me to say she had an emergency and is unable to attend. There was no option to still meet and look over the document with another team member. Day's later, I received an attempt to meet again and she decided to send the documents to an office near me to get them notarized. She sent the document without sending me a final draft, only to see grammatical errors and when I called her representative to inform this and to pay for the notary service, she never answered or called me back. So I paid for a service that had promised to pay for the legal document and notary service, which wasnt delivered and disappeared again. What the heck kind of legal business is this? It's SO FRUSTRATING to work with people who have no work ethic, lie and underdeliver. What a SCAM. Luckily, Karma is real...

I…read moreneeded an attorney ASAP for my moms drug related case in Kings County, I had several consultations throughout the day, trying to find someone and many of the attorneys I spoke with were asking for an astronomical amount of money or gave me an immediate no to anything outside of Fresno. I was beginning to feel defeated until a letter came in the mail with my moms name from this firm, I called, scheduled a consultation at the very end of the day, 4:30pm and Helen took the call. There is a reason this woman has been at this office for over 25 years and let me tell you, SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING!!! She was fabulous, she made sure Adam had the availability for the next morning arraignment hearing, she gave me a very fair quote and I signed the contract right then and there. Adam, I heard, was so incredibly professional in the court room. My mom said when he stood up to speak (via Zoom), the whole courtroom hushed to listen. She spoke clearly and explained that he needed to meet with my mom and they extended her pre-trial. Adam is informative, he is incredibly skilled in his understanding of the law. He appears to also be very well known, I made sure to do my research on him as soon as I was told I was going to get someone other than Mr. Taleisnik. The attorneys, their assistants and the woman behind the scenes, Helen, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all that you have done for my family. I hope you all win Fresno's Best 2026, you certainly deserve it. Thank you.

I would not recommend Maison Law to anyone…read more They accepted my case knowing all of the facts, including that the door involved was manual, not automatic. After keeping my case for over two years, putting me through countless phone calls, paperwork, and delays, I was suddenly told that an attorney had reviewed the case and they would no longer represent me because liability was being denied. If that was their position, they should have made that decision when they first accepted my case--not after wasting two years of my time. Communication was one of the biggest problems. My settlement negotiator, Andrew Pacheco, often took months to respond, and getting an update on my case was extremely difficult. I rarely received proactive communication and constantly had to follow up myself. The office also seemed very disorganized. Nearly every time I called, I was told someone different was handling my case. It felt like there was no consistency, no accountability, and no one who actually knew the status of my file. Speaking directly with an attorney was nearly impossible. The staff was frequently discourteous and unprofessional, and the overall level of customer service was disappointing. I expected clear communication and professionalism from a law firm, but that was not my experience. After more than two years, I was left exactly where I started--without representation and having lost valuable time that could have been spent pursuing my case elsewhere. If you're looking for a law firm that communicates well, stays organized, and values your time, my experience suggests you should look elsewhere.
