Highlight of this 17th century property:
Go experience the restaurant built in what used to be the church of the convent. Charming & Delicious
The hotel is in an old convent that has been restored and renovated. They have done a fabulous job, mixing charm and all the comfort of a 4 star hotel.
Our room was spacious and beds comfortable, the only downfall is that my window is not well sealed and you could feel a freshness in the room. It was fine for this time of season in early autumn. It might be an issue in the winter.
Rooms and showers are large enough for light Handicap but no ramps in case of wheelchair. - secured parking
The staff was very welcoming and I highly recommend you eat at their restaurant "Les petits Plats du Bourbon" which sits in the old Abbaye Saint-Ambroix. The culinary experience was very good and at very reasonable prices with the options of a 18 euros for lunch - 25 euros for dinner menu (entrée, plat, dessert) according to the season (reservations a must). Chefs du Cercle rated with 1 Michelin Star. read more
