The gym is brand new, with all new equipment. There is a good selection of strength training machines as well as four or five treadmills, some stationery bikes, ellipticals and steppers. There's a well-outfitted weights area with several options for people focusing on just building muscle.
Easy to get or walk to.
There's no personnel on hand. To get in, you have to sign up online for a free day trial ticket/day ticket/membership and receive PIN code. You have to key in the code to get through to the training area.
The locker room isn't really a room. There's no door, though plenty of privacy thanks to a shield. There are quite a few lockers but only two showers, and only two outlets if you need to use a hair dryer. There is also only one toilet that isn't truly separate from anything else, so privacy might be an issue.
The gym itself has little in the way of personality. In a word: bland. You go in, you work out, you get on with your day. There's no place to sit or rest or wait for someone to finish up. However, it's open 24 hours a day, so there's that. Be aware that there's no water bar as of yet either.
Overall, worth the 10 euro/month (which is easy to cancel any time) if you just want a functional gym that lets you workout and maybe shower before going shopping or something. read more
