One thing that really drew me in was the Women's Only area. I didn't want to workout at my university where I knew everyone who was going to be here, but not only did 10 Fitness provide for me a workout away from my school, it also gave me more privacy through the Women's Only room! I also love the unique addition of the Cinema room! It feels like you're killing two birds with one stone by getting both a workout and being entertained at the same time. The overall atmosphere is great, where you don't feel out of place, it's a naturally inviting environment. The classes are a plus, too. I've only done Pilates, but I hear nothing but good things, and the people who attend the classes are very committed in their attendance. They provide incredible childcare as well, so that you can't make an excuse to not work out because you have to be at home with your kids! Only $10 a month for childcare, a really food deal. They gym stays clean, especially the bathrooms. And on top of all of this, the staff is of course great, with awesome trainers and employees who are ready to not just be part of the staff, but also your friend. They learn their customers' names and are intentional. I'm a big fan of this gym, and will miss it when I move away in a few weeks!

Fee at time of joining was $31 ( sign up fee and first month ) and just got hit with an additional $43 for annual membership fee. So as of today the cost for 2 months of membership, sign up fees and annual membership is $85. That brings the one year membership cost to around $195 (this amount also includes taxes ). Still, it's a fair price for a really good gym experience.

The swimming pool is just used for kids to play in. there isn't an area sectioned off for laps or a time set aside daily for exercising by adults only. Also, beware of auto-draft. They have a very hard time stopping it, although they have a very easy time setting it up.

There are classes for toddlers through teens. We have a child in the toddler class and Independence is so much better than the other school down the street which we used to attend. Clean facility, hands on instructors, focused workout program for the class so that they learn what to expect. Above and beyond the other schools here in batesville. There is also a great observation deck for parents and siblings to watch class!

My daughter has been in competition cheer for the last 6…read moreyears, and only recently learned that supposedly the owner verbally berated her to the point that she stopped being a flyer and made her cry. My child doesn't cry unless she is physically hurt.... In addition, we are currently owed money from this business that they have basically chosen not to refund to us and other parents saying there's an issue with a cheer competition company, but they have paid out refunds to other parents. I won't get into anything else that I've seen or heard, because there's not enough room to cite everything here. The least they could do with all the money not being given back is fix their sign.
