It's not usually advisable to pop into a hairdresser you have never been to before, but my hair was in desperate need of cutting. The Salon wasn't short of customers, so I had to wait a little while. On arrival I was told it has been booked as a ladies cut and the hairdresser hadn't been trained to cut short hair so they couldn't do the appointment! Heads up - some ladies do have short hair. So our Saturday Morning was wasted walking a small boy into town and now I have a furious 6 year old to find a haircut for. Thank goodness I didnt book my own cut and colour, as it doesn't seem that they are either properly organised or fully trained!

I've only used this salon twice when my usual therapist has been away - but both times, I have been impressed. I also purchased a gift voucher for Mum's birthday for her to have a reflexology session, as it's only just around the corner from her house. The salon isn't open on Sundays or Mondays, but other than that, it's a nice little salon - it always looks clean and clinical, and the prices are comparable with other salons in the City. There is parking available - and the therapists run strictly to time, which is a bonus if you're fitting in an appointment in a busy lifestyle!!

The treatment rooms are always clean and tidy and the massage chairs are fab too! I used to use this salon regularly - until my therapist left to start her own business. Some of the therapists are better than others - but once you have found one you like, stick with them!! The treatments are a bit more expensive here than some of the other salons, but you do feel like a celeb when you enter for your treatment! There isn't any free parking with this salon - there is some paid parking at GL1, or if your treatment is less than 2 hours, you can risk parking at Asda and crossing the road. They also offer a make up service - for special occasionsunfortunately this isn't a mobile service.

There was no mention about skin care, I had to point out I paid for an hour (actually my boyfriend paid for it for my birthday). Than I have been told the skin care was based on how to use 'Decleor' only (it isn't mentioned on the web site). I felt like I had to buy 'Decleor' to make the lesson and my boyfriend's money worth it. If I knew it I wouldn't have ask for it!
