After much planning, we were so excited to build the kitchen addition of my dreams. A year later, I had a newborn baby (9/2016) and found myself about 6 months away from the job being finished. It was just too stressful and we had to part ways from our contractor. Our biggest challenge in our project was the floor that we planned to install for our entire first floor. It was a mess! It was a heated slab floor, complete with slate tile that couldn't come up, half plywood subfloor, and uneven spots galore. We met with about 5 flooring contractors, and we were searching for an expert. Someone who knew about glue, and nail down applications. Someone who knew about radiant heat slabs. Someone who knew whether or not we should put the floor or the cabinets down first. We were skeptical and our trust had been broken after working with our previous contractor. ProSource hardwoord dealers in Canton, MA told us that before we choose a hardwood, we had to call their installer, Elite Installations. The girl on the phone was so enthusiastic telling me, "When you call, Andrea will pick up. You will love her." Boy, was she right! Andrea talked to me about not just the floor installation, but about being a mom and about the challenges of owning a house that needs work. She is so positive and upbeat. We chatted for a very long time during our first phone call. Just like another customer wrote, it was like I'd known her my whole life. She sent Jerry over within days, and he is SUCH an expert. He is extremely professional, knowledgable, and takes planning conversations very seriously. He wants to know EXACTLY what you want done, and he clearly is one to be extremely thorough. Both Andrea and Jerry give you the feeling that they are going to be pickier than than the most picky customer - and that is a great feeling. Jerry came to our house more than once to discuss the upcoming floor install. It was great to have so many in person conversations with our installer. The Elite Installation team showed up on time, finished the project within the expected amount of time, and did a more amazing job that I could have ever imagined. They cut the floor so perfect around the already-installed cabinetry, that it looks as if the cabinets were placed right on top of an already installed floor. The workmanship is amazing. If you are thinking of installing any kind of floor, tile, or rug...Andrea and Jerry and the Elite Team are your best bet in the greater Boston area.

We hired Elite several years ago to renovate our kitchen and convert our three-season porch into a…read moreyear-round eat-in dining area. Unfortunately, our experience was an absolute nightmare. The project fell significantly behind schedule. There were weeks when workers showed up only two or three days, and sometimes not at all. Despite the lack of progress, we were aggressively pressed for payments each week. Eventually, we found ourselves having paid far more than the amount of work that had actually been completed. Then, one day, they said they were not working on the project anymore and never finished the renovation. We are still left without the renovated porch and eat-in area we our out a substantial amount of money, and dealing with poor craftsmanship on portions of the work that were completed. We ultimately had to hire an attorney in an effort to resolve the situation, and our attorney's attempts to communicate with them were ignored. So I'm taking to social media to share my story so it doesn't continue to happen. This has been an incredibly frustrating and expensive experience for our family. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring Elite. I wish we had known before hiring them what we know now. Run far away

The project included: removal and replacement of 2 outside stairs, replacement of approx 20 feet of walkway with keystone, replacement of 40 feet of sidewalk with concrete, repointing red brick façade to approximately 3 feet above grade, repair of 3 small leaks noted at roof, and water proofing the basement by providing a below grade concrete skirt around 3/4 of the house. Waterproofing of the basement has not been effective. Visual exam of the exterior would indicate incomplete or unprofessional finishing of the exterior skirt at several locations which would be contributory to the leaking. Of the 3 leak spots of the roof, only 1 was effectively repaired, and an additional leak proximal to a previously noted chimney location has developed. Quinn and Thomas were notified by phone and promised a visit in two weeks. No show, no phone call. Subsequent phone calls (plural) and emails to the main office, Quinn/Stokes, and Dan of DAG have not been returned. Although Quinn explicitly stated several times satisfaction guaranteed, it should be recognized that the issue is efficacy, not aesthetics. Legal action will be necessitated, unfortunately.

After I caught contractor Jerris, contractor Jay and worker James in multiple lies I called the town hall building inspector Gary Allard to come down and inspect. After the building inspector Gary Allard inspected Liberty's work, the building inspector had Liberty Construction rip out everything down to the stud and start over again. This totally incompetent crew and liars were fired for shoddy work and trying to cover up the improperly installed scope of work. In April of 2025, a few cracks stated to develop. I called and got a commitment to repair but no stated date because of the amount of work - again ok. However, after a couple of months, I called again assuming they forgot me. Since then, I have gotten the run around. They have committed dates and never showed, email interactions with no useful response, and even a commitment to arrive on a Saturday around noon to 1pm. As expected - even though I called to confirm - Joe never showed. The cracks are now about 8 feet and 3 feet long. Will be finding someone else to seal the driveway. I just would not recommend them. Update: October 2025: Pardini actually arrived 3 hours late and sealed the driveway. Six months of pestering got some action. I have updated to 3 stars.

DuPuis Oil installed my boiler 3 years ago. They sent a technician to clean it upon my request. The…read moretechnician did not do the job correctly. 6 months later (August 12th, 2025) my house filled soot and carbon monoxide. DuPuis send a different technician who said the previous technician did not clean the boiler correctly and he showed me why he said that. He also documented it. DuPuis never billed me for the service on August 12th. On October 27th my boiler didn't start. I called DuPuis and the service manager told me that they won't support my boiler anymore unless I buy their oil. I told them I would find someone else. 3 days later, which was 80 days from the corrective service they did on August 12th, I get a bill. My first bill for this service with net 20 terms. On November 5th they send me a statement that included two months of a late fee, for a bill I didn't even have during that time. The late charges are fraudulent. They did shoddy work on my boiler and after it polluted my house and almost killed me, they want me to pay for them to re-clean and properly adjust my boiler because I wouldn't let them extort me into buying their overpriced oil. On August 12th I would have paid the bill had they presented me an invoice as per usual, but assumed they didn't because their poor work necessitated the August 12 service call. If they were going to bill me with terms of Net 20 for the work they did on August 12th, they should have billed me on August 12th, not 80 days afterwords because I refused to be extorted. For them to charge me late fees for two months I wasn't billed is criminal. They should be audited to see what other unethical business practices they employ.
