Do not use this company! Positive reviews on here have got to be fakes. Their LLC is now not…read morerenewed/revoked by the state of Virginia and they are now operating in Maryland!! Beware no matter which state you're in. I usually hate writing negative reviews and especially don't like reading long reviews but I want to tell my story, I'll leave a short version and long version. Short: terrible communication, ruined yard, crushed edge of brand new driveway day of install and said "it will wear in", said weeds growing through asphalt 2 weeks later "was normal", driveway not smooth (bumps where they stopped between truck loads), definitely not the thickness they said it would be (3 inches even factoring in the rolling/compressing), weird areas of loose asphalt that are spongy when touched, valleys in driveway, sunken in and uneven areas, don't follow/acknowledge their warranty and ignore you. Their website doesn't work anymore (Virginia version) but the Maryland one does. They are ignoring any type of communication which they previously used prior to payment. STAY AWAY!!! Long: when we agreed on price I was told "I'll get you a date for install later today when I get back to office." I didn't hear anything for days and I had to reach out to see what was going on and still didn't hear anything for a while. Finally when I just texted them to just cancel and I'd find someone else (wish I had) they reached out saying they had bigger jobs and would reach out the next week. They eventually did schedule me and did show up, when they started removing my old driveway (recycled asphalt previously) they wanted asked if they could just pile it somewhere at my house so they didn't have to haul it away and save them time?!? Tried to talk me into making a weird and useless area down by the road but I didn't want it. Finally I just got annoyed and told them to pile it in an area in the woods and away from the grass since I just redid my front lawn and I'd move it around with my tractor later on. When I came out they just piled it all right in the middle of my grass and killed it and left rocks throughout yard... As they laid the asphalt and told me the rules to follow which stated not to drive on it for so many hours for curing and avoid edges to keep it healthy etc, then they drive on it with their vehicles and even the edges and smashed it all down. When asked they said "it will blend in eventually..." Then 2-3 weeks after the install there were weeds growing through the brand new asphalt. I reached out and he said "that's normal"....... I have a decently long driveway and they used a few trucks to do the whole thing. There are visually noticeable bumps and ridges where they started and stopped with each one, yet again that's normal according to them... There are areas that are about an inch deep "spongy" holes. You can push down and the whole area moves allowing water to get into and will quickly turn into potholes during cold/hot cycles. I reached out and he said he'd stop by but that was 3 months ago and haven't seen or heard anything word from them... Asphalt was quoted as 3 inches, I understand that means 3 inches laid down and then rolled/compressed. This driveway is not. When asked he said "it's that way for water runoff".... It's been 3 1/2 months since I last got any type of response from them. The will read my messages on Facebook and text message but will never respond. Save your money and don't fall for this company!
