They tell me they will not see her unless she has a covid test first. So I take her to get a rapid covid test and then made an appointment but they only had the following day at noon. You are a doctor's office that won't see my sick kid?? Needless to say, I went in and pulled my records and now looking for a new pediatrician.

The one that saw baby in the hospital wasn't one we felt 100% good about caring for her. I've passed this location on my way into Laurel many times and found out that they accepted my insurance. First, Dr. Delaney works with Children's Pediatricians & Associates, a plus that they're connected with Children's Hospital. When we arrived, the front desk staff was very friendly & checking in was very easy, you can actually check in online before arriving. Once we got back in the room (very little wait time) we met the doctor. She is very kind, gentle & compassionate, she definitely cares about her patients! She did a thorough exam & asked if we had any questions. It was a very pleasant experience for baby, mom & grandma. If you're looking for a great pediatrician who is local to Laurel/Beltsville & is genuinely a good doctor, I highly recommend her!

Essentially, you pay for the healthcare you need. This is an excellent practice for people who cannot easily afford medical insurance and are shut out of our healthcare system. For myself, I enjoy the fact that The practice is personable and accessible, and I never have a difficult time getting an appointment when I needed it. I think many more people should be considering medical practices such as evolve, yet I still do not find that many. The closest analogy is somewhere like Care first, however, Care first is less of a medical practice run by one doctor and more of a mass healthcare system. Evolve is a medical practice, with an excellent doctor, competent staff, and a pay as you go approach.

All of whom have given practical and reasonable medical advice. The front office staff has always been pleasant and kind with me. I am a big believer in the idea that you receive what you give--kindness included (not always, but most of the time). People are just people, sometimes we have good days, and other times-- not so much. I am not saying it's ok to be rude, but it's not been my experience that any of the staff here have treated me poorly. I also think it's been a positive addition to the practice to bring on a full-time phlebotomist, which has made blood draws faster and much easier. I enjoy the convenience of not needing to be referred out to another lab for routine lab work. I am not invalidating the experience of others but wanted to offer a balanced perspective from the other end of things.
