Came to the house and did the windows of my suv. Was open to feedback on how I wanted my car to look. End result was awesome. Thank you.

The few companies we found mostly specialized in auto tinting and didn't know how to price the job. I found Pleasant Details & Tinting on the internet, contacted them and spoke with Andrew Hellier. He came out same day to assess the job, offered fair pricing the same evening and less than a week later the job was done. Efficient, professional, quality work would best define my experience with this company and especially Andrew and his coworker. My neighbors have seen the work and plan to reach out for similar projects in their homes in the future. See before and after shots.

PD did nice work tinting the front windows of my SUV. They charge $75 per side window for basic 3M…read moretint or $100 for 3M with heat reduction. Options are available from very light tint to dark limo. So far I don't see any air bubbles or imperfections under the tint. Job was completed in about 30 minutes. They said the tint comes with lifetime guarantee against installation defects. They also recently tinted the Mrs' SUV, and while they also did a good job on installing the tint (which looks great), they did fail to properly reinstall an inside door panel by leaving half the clips out, leaving the door panel loose. We had to take it back a couple days later to get this fixed. The owner and employees were all professional and friendly. Note they add 3.5% if you pay with a credit/debt card. Be sure to make an appointment; appears the employees split time between the N. Charleston location and one in Mt. Pleasant. They also do vehicle wraps, and based on the two I saw sitting outside the work quality appears to be good.

It's an ongoing process, but I've managed to find a few solid professionals along the way. One of them is JC from JC Pro Tint. I've never had window tint installed on any of my cars before since they usually came with factory tint. My last car, a Volvo, had tint when I bought it, so I never really thought about it until recently. After someone hit my Volvo, I had to get another car and ended up choosing a used BMW. It's perfect, except for one thing: no tint! So, I started looking around and was shocked by how much prices varied. Some places quoted me up to $700 for tinting a 328i BMW sedan! That's when I found JC. He gave me a really competitive quote, so I decided to check out his shop. I was genuinely impressed. The place was spotless, with a nice waiting area, and the work area was clean and organized. He had me in and out in about 90 minutes! Initially, I wanted to go the "cheap route" and skip the ceramic tint. However, once I looked at the differences in heat reduction and quality, I went with his recommendation. It turned out to be an easy decision! I chose ceramic tint because it gets pretty hot down here, and the quality is fantastic--way better than the tint I had on my Volvo and other cars. JC is super professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He's straightforward, not pushy at all, and really takes the time to explain everything, including the different types of tint. After he finished, I realized he was right about something I was hesitant about: tinting my windshield. I could feel the heat coming in from it, so I made an appointment for him to tint that and my sunroof too. If you're thinking about getting your windows tinted, I definitely recommend giving JC a call. You'll be really happy with the results! GSD

Paid 2500$ for a frontal PPF. He held my truck from tues-sat. Promised frequent updates. Never…read morereceived any update except for when i reached out on Friday about pickup. Jose the owner was a recommended installer and was suggested to me. The business prides themselves on not "cutting any corners". I wish this was true. I trusted him with my brand new vehicle. Jose not only did an awful job installing the film. When he tried to rectify the issues, he cut into my vehicle multiple times on different panels. Yes "cut". Never informing me of what he was doing, and he proceeded to do this without my knowledge. I would have told him no cutting outside of the machine. These films are precut by a machine and he had no business cutting on my car, but he did it anyways. Later saying "i don't typically do that and must have went through the film". Mistakes happen, however it wasn't just one cut. I'm pretty sure every cut he made, was into the vehicle. There are 5+ cuts into my car. Some cuts are 10+ inches long. These can't be buffed out. His solution was to hide them with more PPF. The pictures attached were presented to the owner of the business who is also the ppf installer. I had to beg for a phone call. When he finally reached out, he was unapologetic and seemed annoyed that i was upset that he damaged my brand new 100,000$ vehicle. A decent businessman with good ethics would own his mistakes and do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. Which truly isn't that hard, i simply asked for a refund. I didn't even demand he pay for the repair cost of the rest. Not the case here. He denied my request for a refund. He swore he could fix the issue. No logical person would give their car back to this business after seeing it be mutilated. I'd say do your research, and i felt like i did. Don't end up like me, save your money and time. They do not care about your car, they are negligent and careless. Due to him refusing to refund me. Currently pursuing claim filings for reimbursement, potential court case submissions and reporting this business to better business bureau etc. I will happily spend more to expose this place so you don't have to lose your hard earned money.
