I got someone on the first two rings, when i called, that was super friendly and helpful. Nothing worst than feeling rushed on the phone when asking questions. When I went in for glasses Jodi was very knowledgeable about finding and fitting my frame as well as knowing what progressive lens supported my prescription. I work on computers all day so they set me up with an affordable computer pair of glasses as well. The staff were super friendly and I will continue to tell everyone I know about this wonderful optical and how helpful, timely, and knowledgeable the staff is here. Also, when I picked up my glasses and contacts!! I found a perfect pair of Costa sunglasses for my beach vacation that will also work for when I go deep sea fishing with my guy.

Did so and it wasn't even my scheduled time yet. The patient assistant took me back and did dilating, glaucoma, etc. very nice. She sat me back out in main room saying they didn't have an exam room available. Odd. When I got back out I saw a printed notice I hadn't read previously that said "We are currently experiencing longer than usual wait times. Please speak to the front office if you would like to reschedule. Thank you for understanding." Hmm, well, it was only 20 min into my appointment and I'd had all pre work done. Here I sit ANOTHER HOUR has passed. A patient assistant came out and encouraged people to reschedule as they are "running behind" but not one person has come out or gone in. I'm not buying that "the doctor has been dealing with issues." This is utterly ridiculous since they called me twice in the last two days to confirm my appointment, and they have a laminated sign that says "a charge will be made for broken appointments unless 24-hour notice is given." Bet they aren't giving me that fee if I have to reschedule. And if they have three or maybe four rooms back there and patients "had issues" why hasn't anyone come out? Let's face facts, this is an eye doctor, not an obstetrician. That level of emergency just doesn't happen on a regular basis.

Their are so many separate booths, yet the store feels cohesive. Well lit, organized, and fun. Music playing in the background while people smile and chat around you. Everyone is friendly, and helpful. If I'm going to shop local, I'm shopping here! I found some wooden, hand carved candle holders, hand-sewn pot holder, and a monogram glass cutting board among the antique glassware and hand painted signs. I wish I could've taken more home with me, but that's what the second shopping trip is for, right?
