I just cannot resist the cartelized orange chicken and white rice. It sounds like an ordinary plate but its not! I've been to places and have ordered orange chicken but it doesn't compare to this! It is very busy during lunch time but I've always managed to find a place (and I even have my son in his stroller)! It is very spacious in there and it's always fun to go shopping after a full stomach! In regards to the cost... it is a bit pricey for cafeteria style food. But that's Geneva for you!

There is also the possibility to make own crepe: You order crepe with ingredients you want! This is a cool option! Fresh carrot orange juice was tasty too. Their coffee is strong and good. Restaurant interior decoration is nice. I like much daylight getting inside and there are some tables for sitting outside too. Service is very friendly and price corresponds to high quality food but is still below Geneva average! It's to mention restaurant is crowded over lunchtime and it may be difficult to get a good seat! ps: I avoid eating sushi and sashimi not only in Globus but in every restaurant in Europe! It apparently becomes very difficult to get fresh fish! Well! I'd eat sushi and sashimi in Japan because fish has been always fresh!

    Mister B Sandwiches

    Mister B Sandwiches

Before heading up into the mountains for a hike, we swung by Mister B to pick up some food and fuel…read moreup. In mid-morning on a Sunday, it was pretty empty (along with a decent slice of the rest of downtown Montreux), so swinging in and placing our order was a cinch. The gentleman at the counter in the morning didn't speak great English (and the menu is only in French), but our rusty French was good enough to get us by when ordering. With a few chairs along the wall opposite the food display, it was easy enough to sit down and have a bite before heading out. We each had a crepe to eat there, as well as taking a sandwich for the hike. I would note that despite the waffles looking fantastic when on display, we saw that they were actually brought in by someone else (and perhaps from a different vendor altogether) and put out...I felt that was a bit disingenuous. Our crepes were pretty decent, and since they were done with whole wheat batter, they were a bit healthier to boot. My wife's savory crepe was admittedly better, with the ham and cheese crepe turning out quite deliciously. I went with the cinnamon sugar crepe, and since none of the sweeter options had butter listed, I wrongly assumed that it would be added on. While the flavor was decent, without the butter as a medium for soaking in the flavor of the sugar into the crepe, it was a bit dry (and with a slightly sandy texture as well). As for our sandwich - I enjoyed the flavor of our ham, tomato, and cheese sandwich, as the house sauce / mayo really helped tie all the ingredients together. However, the sandwich had literally one long slice of meat running throughout it, making it substantially less filling than we had hoped it would be. Mister B is a nice, convenient spot to grab some quick food for the go, as there aren't as many of these deli-type restaurants available (and many boutique epiceries seemed to be out of business in and around town). However, despite the high ratings we saw on other websites, I would moderate expectations of what you'll get here. Perhaps the best thing about it is that unlike so many other places in town, I did not feel like I was breaking the bank on food.
