He replied with a snarky "that's fine, but who is going to cover the cost of the materials I just ordered?" First of all, I never said I wasn't going to reschedule. Second, I assumed he would need me here while he did the job so I could pay him. When we talked about schedule availability he never informed me that materials would be purchased so far in advance and that I would be required to pay if I needed to cancel. I have had work done on my home before and am aware a % down is due before work begins, but never 2 months out with no communication to the client. When I informed him that I live alone and had to go out of town for work that week, he replied with "I'm sure you just found someone who could do it sooner. I have been in business here for 18 years with 100% approval rating so good luck" Very rude and unprofessional.

Not a word was said about them doing this or when they would be cashing it. So when I tell Heather we are taking our business elsewhere, she says there is a 10% fee for cancelling. Tanner who bid the job didn't mention this and not anywhere does it say on our bid! We attempt to reach the owner through Facebook messenger and by leaving MANY messages to return our call right away with nothing in return. I will NEVER recommend this place of business for anything.
