This property used to be part of a back yard and Sean used to rake the leaves from two, large pin oaks. Now the land has been made into the perfect place to look/buy a tree. The owners put 4" pipe into the ground at regular intervals. The fresh trees are put into individual pipe stands and the pipe for each tree is filled with water, nightly. Their trees are fresh and well trimmed so they look great. We were there about five minutes before we found a great tree. And very competitive prices. We drove about twenty miles to get to Mooresville but it was worth it.

We even arrived almost at dusk last year due to travel issues, and they were more than gracious to accommodate us in finding our trees-2 trees in 20 minutes is a record for me :)!! Even post Helene with devastating destruction in the area, they pressed on. Their employee turnover is low with some having been there decades, other seasonal workers have come back year after year. Their prices are more than reasonable, even giving you a free wreath with each tree purchased, and the trees are beautiful! We've come here for years and love it. This year, they've made some changes to the flow and it seems improved. The usual things are there such as the wagon rides and the large fields of trees to choose from. The trees are tagged with colored ribbons which indicate the size and price. You pick a tree, wave someone down, and they will cut and bail it for you. Alternatively, you can also cut your own. They have a large barn area that grows a bit every year. You can get a cup of hot chocolate, hot apple cider, or a cookie for free. You also get a free small wreath with every tree, and there is a nice selection of larger wreaths and garland for purchase. After paying, you get back in your car and line up for pickup. Present your tag, and they quickly load the tree on top of your vehicle and tie it down for you. This area is rearranged and improved in efficiency compared to last year. It was quick and easy despite a busy day (Saturday after Thanksgiving) and long line. Prices go up year over year, which is unfortunate consequence of inflation. I'm glad they accept card payments and not just cash. But for the service, the quality of the trees, and the size of the farm, I don't mind the price. They are easily my favorite tree farm and are a family tradition!

When you arrive you really feel like you're stepping into a cozy North Pole wonderland. Beautiful decorations throughout the entire ship. The coziest fireplace and you can sit at the cafe and order some yummy treats and hot cider. I wish I could visit every day during the holidays!

It wasn't much to look at, probably just a seasonal location for them. One of the guys helping me out said they shipped the trees and wreaths and such from the mountains. The staff: AWESOME! Very helpful... They wrap your tree and tie it on your roof and everything. The selection: We went about a week before Christmas, so I would assume they had sold a lot already. The trees were beautiful and awesomely prices. They had this 12 or so foot tree for $154. Going to close to Christmas, I think they were just trying to get rid of their inventory so I got an awesome deal on this huge wreath. The owners wife made it... It's gorgeous!! She even hand made the bow which really complimented the wreath very well. Being in Charlotte, this was a bit of a drive on some weird back road that I've never been on. I'd go back again, although I'm still a little upset I didn't get any apple cider. I did however pick up some local honey and some homemade winter pickles. Yum!
