Enjoyed it so, that we ordered 24 bottles to ship home. He discounted the shipping for the quantity and charged my card. The next day I get an email from him needing 70 more Euros for the shipping because the shipper refuses to ship with out full payment. I call his personal cell and try to make payment. He was not at work and could not help me, please call the store manager. I did, she said there is no record of the sale and if I want the wine to pay 300, euro for shipping. Wait, what? No record but you know how much the shipping would be??? Also that I need to prove I made a purchase. I gave her the Fattura # "invoice #" off the receipt and she conveniently spoke no more English. She then told me I had to email her the receipt and hung up. After multi-able attempts to contact both the store and the employee, no one will speak to me, THEY HANG UP. Capital one was very helpful at this point in guiding me through the long process of cancelling the order and going after my funds. This is still unresolved and i'm waiting. The only bad memory of Italy I have. read more
