Always take my Mum and Dad there - they have a great time deciding what to have - breakfast baps are incredible and very good value. Coffee is big and strong. They have a loyalty card which allows a free one after about nine cups - a nice touch, and obviously competing with Nero down the road. The deli counter has a nice selection of food, some unusual stuff - but I do think you pay for it. The olives in particular seem to be very expensive, and I don't really feel they are any more special than from the right supermarket.

But never fear, in Atlas they just nodded and took our order, and I have to say it's the best coffee I've had in Nottm in some time. With a lovely selection of cakes (I recommend the carrot cake) and an interesting sarnies and salad selection, I can recommend it, especially to anyone trying to escape the clinical Cafe Nero / Starbucks chains. My only reservation is that they need to pay more attention to cleaning up around the coffee machine (it was a bit offputtingly messy).
