Gus is an awesome groomer and has more experience than any groomer around... I've known him as a groomer in this area for 15 years, before he opened his own business. I'm pretty sure he already had several years of experience even before that. He is the only groomer whom I let groom my dog for the 1st 6 years of her life. Even after I moved away, I tried to still make the 1.5 hr trip with my dog to Albertville to "get her hair done" when I could/can. Gus always does a GREAT job, is friendly and just overall a good and helpful person! His shop isn't fancy or high end or in a nice part of town, but it has everything it needs and I have never once been disappointed! Plus, it's just nice to be able to support a U.S. Citizen small business owner!! Go... you won't be disappointed (unless you're an unreasonable person to begin with)! P.S. I read a couple of the "negative" reviews here and to the lady whom was asked to pay first... you were obviously planning to get out without paying by saying you didn't like the job he did. Did I mention how smart Gus is? I'm sure he smelled that a mile away as soon as your brood hit the door! I'm asked to pay for services in advance all the time (such as at the dr office) and not once have I ever been offended or ever pitched a fit about it, but then again, I've always had every intention of paying in full! read more
