Did not stay at the hotel but would like to rate the restaurant.
Did not get very much attention from the waitress at first, but that got better after a while.
Not very much to choose from on the menu, but what is there is a good variety.
We chose the chicken pie and the venison burger, both very tasty and plenty. Only the onion rings were a bit of a letdown, as they were merely lukewarm.
The Belhaven Best was nice and cold, went well with the burger.
Prices average, good value for money.
I might not take children there in the evening, as the noise from the bar through the open connecting door was probably a bit too colourful choice of words, but then again, personally, I did not mind, its one of the two local pubs, there's bound to be regulars having a drink and a laugh. read more
