A wonderful place in a wonderful area! I was visiting friends in Gumbostrand and decided to walk here for lunch and check out the art gallery. It was a nice peaceful sunny day and Kunst & Form totally matched the feeling. There were some fantastic pieces in the gallery in a variety of styles and I definitely wanted to take some home with me. The shop that accompanies the gallery is filled with fascinating, beautiful, cute, and functional items that would fit perfectly in the home of any art lover or anyone that loves contemporary functional art pieces. The café is a bright open space with plenty of seating and a selection of delicious foods, baked goods, and beverages. There is also outdoor seating on the patio but it was a cool day so we decided to sit inside. My wife and I shared a delicious smoked salmon salad, pulla (mildly sweet cardamom bun), and a slice of berry pie while sipping cappuccinos. The smoked salmon was on a bed of lettuce, radishes, olives, and tomatoes with quartered hard boiled eggs and was a very fresh and satisfying salad. Pulla is always wonderful with coffee and this was as good as expected. The berry pie was a perfectly simple yet amazing traditional Finnish pie topped with lightly whipped cream. The cappuccino was good topped with plenty of milk foam and cinnamon. Kunst & Form is a great addition to Gumbostrand and I look forward to visiting again for lunch and making some purchases the next time I am in Finland. read more
