    pop in here for the spiff decor in the back room. i marveled at how authentic the walls looked, to…read morehave my companion laughingly inform me that i was touching the mountain part of the town is built up into. i consider that worth the price of admission, so i'll bump this to a 3. barring that, however, my experience was: when we first walked in: bitchy, stuck-up bartendresses, who took forever to serve us overpriced drinks, despite no crowd competing for their attention. when we walked into the back: the BO from the few dancing (and, er, partying..?) revelers punched us in our faces when we pushed open the glass door. not the usual musky smell; someone might have been slowly dying. it was probably just one off dude (hopefully your results vary..), and we might've adjusted, but a few guys attempted the ol hump from behind, too. it was all very Night at The Roxbury, without the irony.

    Went here on a Tuesday night--Reggae night. Apparently Soda Club, along with another place called…read moreRepublic, are the main night life spots that isn't just a bar. Tiny tiny club, and wasn't super packed at all (At first I figured it was because it was a Tuesday, but then I noticed the bar next door was slam packed). There is a separate dance area in the back that has its own bar. The walls had this cool, raw texture--like it was cave and there were these psychadelic string lights attached to the ceiling. It was a really chill experience compared to clubbing in LA--way less rude people in Austria.
