Indeed, Dr. Briseno spends a lot of time with his patients, however, much of that time is spent on him typing and talking into his little recorder, or taking a call from "his neighbor", or discussing his military service. Had he given our concerns a minute of attention, he might have discovered that my husband was indeed very ill. The fact that many reviewers comment on Dr. B's military service and the amount of time he spends with patients explains why he didn't have time when it was my husband's turn to see him.

He personally calls you on the phone if labs or tests come back with something he needs to discuss immediately instead of having a nurse call you to setup up another appointment. He never rushes you even though he is extremely busy. Sometimes your wait time is a little longer but he is well worth the wait. I highly recommend Dr Charles Briseno.

The wait time is always 30-60 minutes, his nursing staff are mostly rude & act like they are doing you a favor. His level of care has completely changed to where you feel like you are being rushed through after waiting a really long time, not to mention the I kinda don't care attitude. This last visit was the icing on the cake of my decision to leave him as a Dr. I waited 50 minutes to be taken back to a completely soiled & dirty room from a previous patient! Gross! I said to the nurse that it didn't make me feel comfortable. She cleaned the room with an attitude & never came back. Another nurse came in & started the process. Dr Cossu finally came in. I told him why I was there & that I needed an EKG. He said the nurse should have already done this & also rushed through the appointment. Another nurse finally came in to do the EKG. She left the room to go show the Dr & then came in to give me the results & paper for bloodwork. She said the Dr would call if something showed up from the bloodwork. Dr Cossu NEVER came back to see or talk to me! WTF! WHAT KIND OF PATIENT CARE IS THAT!? He was the Physician on call at Gulf Coast Hospital. He took excellent care of my husband during his stay there. We both thought he was very thorough and caring. We've been his patients ever since. Always feeling good about the care we received by both the front office staff, the wonderful Nurse and of course, Dr. Sabha!

I trusted his judgement and so far have been very satisfied. I have had to see his nurse instead of him once but that is okay, most usually they allow you more time and attention that the physician himself can.
