It would be extremely difficult to find a finer opthamologist than Dr. Clark. Not only is he a…read moreremarkable doctor, but an even finer human being with compassion, thoughtfulness, and empathy. Dr. Clark and his medical staff, the fabulous individuals you are fortunate to see, once you leave the receptionist area. Dr. Clark and his staff of nurses and residents are phenomenal. They are consistently extraordinary, which I attribute to the exceptional leadership, rapport, and fine character of Dr. Clark. Sometimes, there's a disconnect between those who are supposed to schedule, return calls, and cordially welcome you at the reception desk. He's not only a brilliant doctor and surgeon, but an artist at the top of his craft. Far too often, when you call any of the office locations, the call will go to voicemail. Dr. Clark has worked vigorously to correct this, as if it was his own family member experiencing an issue. My recommendation, if the scheduling staff does not return your call, do not wait more than two (2) business days. Call multiple times, state when you left a message, and ask again for the courtesy of a call back. If you're complacent, you may needlessly wait for a return call. Sadly, the scheduling staff, too often, operate with no sense of urgency, nor consideration. Note, the receptionist at this location, is the lone exception to an entire staff that is cordial, and nice. My sole mixed experience, by far, is limited to the practice's Collegeville office, where the medical staff is phenomenal, thorough, empathetic, and personable. However, the lone receptionist can be belligerent, and doesn't realize that a receptionist represents the initial impression of any business, as the person "behind the front desk" is the first person a patient, client, guest, or customer interacts with. The wonderful nurse with a fabulous demeanor, that provided all measurements of my eyes, was as sweet, efficient, professional, kind, and courteous as anyone could expect. I cannot praise her service enough. This practice affords patients the latest technology for examining your eyes; it's truly amazing. The consistent service that the highly professional, and cordial medical staff utilizes to provide the most effective, and efficient care is exceptional. There are few physicians I've ever encountered that are finer in the Ophthalmology field akin to Dr. Clark! He has compassion, empathy, and remarkable communication, and people skills. With this combination of knowledge, experience, skills, and personality traits. I highly recommend Dr. Clark.

They were over an hour behind with appointments the day of my procedure. Patients were backed up out the door waiting to be checked in. Very limited space in the waiting room for seating and some people opted to wait outside because there were no available seats. Other patients that came in after me were seen before me and the office had the audacity to call my home and say I missed my appointment when I was sitting in the the waiting room for over an hour. The receptionist even discussed why a patient was there in front of the other patients. The Doctor previously told me the procedure I needed takes less then a minute and I feel my time was wasted. Needless to say I left without being seen for my procedure. I will never go back or recommend them to anyone. Save your copay and go where your time and you, as a patient are valued.

Next I was told would need to see the surgeon, but I needed to sign the pricing list before they would schedule me to see the surgeon. When I again asked, why my original issue was ignored and not addressed on the pricing list, I was accused of "refusing" to sign the pricing list. Dr. Clark and his staff of nurses and residents are phenomenal. They are consistently extraordinary, which I attribute to the exceptional leadership of Dr. Clark. Too often, there's a large disconnect between the scheduling staff who continually do not return calls, and multiple messages need to be left on each office's voicemail. If you're complacent, you may never receive a return call for any reason. Nearly every time you call any one of the office locations, you must leave a voicemail, which is supposed to be returned within 72 hours. The scheduling staff operates with no sense of urgency, nor consideration. My worst experience, by far, was limited to my sole visit to the practice's Collegeville office, where the lone receptionist is belligerent, and not the first nor last person any patient would want to interact with at a physician's office. When I drove to the Collegeville location, using Waze, there was no photo to see the strip of offices, including Opthamology Physicians & Surgeons, which are all located behind a car wash. As you will see in the photos, unless you've been to the office before, it is difficult to determine which of 3-4 driveways is the entrance that leads to the facility. My initial appointment to have my eyes measured was three months from my appointment, at the time I was informed about my diagnosis. It took repeated calls, every few weeks, and an unnecessary test of tenacity, to obtain an appointment nearly two months later, as opposed to three, and visit a location that required over a 2 1/2 hour roundtrip drive. Due to insurance issues, to determine where my surgery could be scheduled, which required the billing department to discern which location(s) would accept my insurance, I was informed at my appointment that I'd get a call to schedule in a couple days. The wonderful nurse with a fabulous demeanor, that provided all measurements of my eyes, was as sweet, efficient, professional, kind, and courteous as anyone could expect. I cannot pause her service enough. Three business days later, I contacted the Collegeville office, after reaching the voicemail at every other location. When the person who answered the phone was unpleasant, and quick to say "someone will call you in a few weeks", by recognizing her voice and tone, I knew she was the same receptionist who abrasively asked why I was taking pictures outside of the office, and in the reception area thereafter. Her tone was accusatory of doing something deeply wrong, and rude. Why she confronted me in a manner about taking photos, and had so much difficulty when I explained to her that Waze, the app utilized to provide directions, had no photos of the location, and that I also use the photos for reviews, she continued to question me, before abruptly sliding the glass window, as I tried to clarify from my seat. If not for the frontline staff, consisting of receptionists and schedulers, Dr. Clark has corrected these problematic issues There are few physicians I've ever encountered that are finer in the Ophthalmology field akin to Dr. Clark!

I'm totally blind without contacts, and I guess I'm supposed to just be blind and unable to drive or work until December when they can see me, ha. When I made a comment about how much it stinks to be born vision impaired (capitalism at its finest, you have to pay to see!) the receptionist LAUGHED. So I guess the receptionist of this office thinks being disabled is a joke. Steer very clear. The next office I called in Phoenixville was immediately accommodating and made arrangements to see me this week.

She couldn't believe how she really knew their names when she has been going to her other dentist for 7 years and never knew anyone's name. I didn't realize how important that was until today! My daughter loved him. He was very gentle and explained everything. Since I am in my 30s, knowing that titanium implants is highly biocompatible with great durability, but I was not sure with all the possible long term effects of metals in the body I really wanted something that is more natural and holistic. I was elated when I learned that Zirconia implants that had been available in Europe and Japan for quite some time were finally approved by FDA a few years ago with a handful of doctors offering them in the US. I came across Dr. DiGiallorenzo's website during my research online for metal free implants. Dr. DiGiallorenzo's office deals with lots of out of town patients, but since my husband and I live in the Chicago area with 3 young children, I was not planning on taking a trip out of town for the procedure. I contacted the company Z-Systems for a list of doctors providing them in the US, only one holistic dentist was available in the Chicago area. After the consultation I knew I wanted a dental implant specialist to perform my procedure. I then asked Z-Systems for the doctors who had the most experience working with zirconia implants, and Dr. David DiGiallorenzo's name came right on top of the list as the first office in the US offering them. I soon emailed Dr. D and was so surprised when I got a reply from the doctor himself an hour later and a call to speak to him directly. After contacting and seeing various dental professionals, it was so refreshing to be able speak to a doctor who is willing to take time to answer my questions and concerns without requesting an in office consultation with required paid checkup and x-rays first. After several emails addressing my concerns, Dr. D looked at my x-rays and CT-Scans that I had taken at other dentists' offices, he provided me a treatment plan with the cost that is comparable to the cost from local dentists, and he told me that I did not need the sinus lift procedure the other oral surgeon had requested for. I knew then I had found the right place for getting my metal free implants. We took the trip to Collegeville a couple weeks later at end of March 2010, Dr. D's staff picked me up at the hotel in the morning. Having been to many dental professionals' offices prior, I was blown away by the warm welcoming and the attentiveness of Dr. D and his staff. I was given the options of local or general anesthesia and I am so glad that I opted for the local with Novocain. I was alert during the procedure and there was relaxing tranquil music playing in the background. Most surprisingly, a massage therapist was with me the whole time providing me massages and reflexology to help ease any tensions. Dr. D was very gentle and repeatedly checked to see I was doing OK, he also pointed out the steps as the procedure progressed. There were hardly any discomfort nor bloody scene like I had read about in other people's dental implant experiences. I was so relaxed throughout the procedure and before I knew it, all four implants were in and I was ready to go. When my husband came he was surprised that I did not look like I just had a surgical procedure! We were driving to Atlantic City that afternoon and my husband thought he would have to lay me down on the hotel bed once we got there but instead we took the kids on the board walk for a couple of hours and had a nice dinner (fluid diet for me). Dr. D gave me a call the second day morning to check on me as well. I had expected to stay in the hotel recovering but I only needed the pain relief for the first 24 hours, and there were very minimum bleeding and swellings. I enjoyed the rest of the trip with my family at the Jersey shores. It's been 2 months since I came home with my implants, and the recovery had been a breeze comparing to the recovery I had when my teeth were extracted. I had a regular check up at my dentist's office last week and showed off my metal free implants - the office also has an oral surgeon on staff and they do lots of titanium implants. My dentist took a full set of x-rays and thought my implants look great and the integration was doing really good. He also commented that Dr. D did a great job. In a few months I will be ready to get the crowns! Thank you Dr.D and your wonderful staff for the dental experience like no other!
