The facility is clean, prepping for procedures is a pleasant experience by staff who's actions reflect a caring attitude. During the procedure (back injections) I never once felt anxious. The IV was placed on the first try each set of injections I've received. I have had bad reactions to opiods. Taking this into account I'm given medication that suits my needs. Dr McMyne couldn't be more pleasant while obtaining the information he needed to effectively perform the procedure. Every encounter with this office/staff has been the epitome of what every medical encounter would be in a perfect world. I have 5 herniated discs (which eventually may result in surgery), and severe arthritis in my hips/back, & degenerative disc disease. I have inherited this cruddy back I have. (My grandmother had it & my mom is in a wheel chair.) I have stayed with this clinic for many years, all through changing owners and doctors. I have tried to find a doctor who would take my Humana AND take care of my pain, to no avail. (Hopefully, this clinic will eventually set up to take insurance.) I wound up back at this clinic because this doctor understands my pain and that I have ZERO quality of life, without my pain being managed. I have even tried going to "world renowned Ochsner," whom I found couldn't care less about my life or my disability. I have children and grandchildren to take care of. The staff here at Advanced is excellent. They are professional. The doctor is knowledgeable & in tune with all laws. There is a no BS policy here. If you are just drug seeking, this is not the clinic for you. He will weed you out. Bottom line is, sometimes you need to pay cash and do without many finer things in life, to be set "somewhat" free of pain. My quality of life has tremendously improved by being a patient at Advanced. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone. If only the general public would stop judging pain patients and pain clinics, as I would be screaming this from the roof tops!!

Having degenerative disk disease we have had to tackle multiple challenges, and Dr Hubble has done so successfully. The office and the surgery center always calls me the next day after a procedure to see how I'm doing. Dr Hubble's PA Brooke is wonderful. Very detail oriented and takes time with you and explains everything completely and answers any questions you may have. I have never felt rushed. I also appreciate the fact that they take Into Consideration that patients time is valuable. There are no long periods in the waiting room or the exam room before you see the doctor. Everyone in his office is kind , thoughtful, considerate and helpful. You couldn't ask for a better staff. I couldn't be happier with my care with Southern Pain & Neurological.

They are so gentle with my father and even help make sure his medications are actually delivered to my father as needed. On the first visit we were encouraged by Dr. Lonseth's seeming level of caring and competence, but you can't judge a book by its cover, because the reality is that after charging our insurance THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of dollars patient is still receiving less pain medication that my dentist prescribes when he pulls a tooth. Dr. Lonseth makes THOUSANDS from injecting steroids into the spine which might work for some, but ALL of the patients doctors including a top notch surgeon at Tulane agree that patients problems will NOT be addressed by steroid injections. Dr. Lonseth refers people into acupuncture and the acupuncture does indeed provide a tiny bit of relief...for a day or so, but in this case does nothing to improve patients quality of life, which is MISERABLE. The surgeon at Tulane even stated " I don't see how you are even able to walk", which is true because patient spends days at the time in too much pain to even get out of bed. It is my honest opinion that Dr. Lonseth's rigid adherence to his preferred dogma of denying opioids rises to the level of malpractice.
