I had the highest insurance payment monthly because I knew I was going to have surgery and wanted the lowest out of pocket co-pay. I had the surgery January 7th 2022 and he performed it at Harvard Medial which he owns at least a portion of and is in the same building as his office. I now have a collection account of almost $10,000 because he knowingly used his surgery center( Harvard Medical) which was NOT in Network with BCBS at the time. This information was never told to me nor would I have ever agreed to do the surgery out of network. In my experience Dr. Leon Watkins seems to only care about his bottom line and the patient is just the vehicle to get him there.

He answers all questions thoroughly and explains everything clearly. I strongly recommend him. His staff is polite, cordial, and very well-trained. They handled all the insurance for me: I had no problem whatsoever with that. The office was clean and pleasant. I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Carradine if another issue arose.
