Wanting to be conservative about my mortgage, I decided to get it directly from Chase Bank - one of…read morethe biggest financial institutions in the world. My family had an established relationship there so we expected to get reasonable treatment. Instead, the process was a complete nightmare and I ended up with a mortgage far worse than I was originally promised based on my financial situation. I reached out to Tracy because I had a bad feeling about how Chase was treating me, and she turned out to be an enormous help. Though my family insisted that I stay with Chase to the end, Tracy remained involved - advising me and filling out a parallel application in case (as she feared) Chase was setting me up for disappointment. It turned out that Chase was acting in bad faith, but they drew out the process long enough that I couldn't switch to Tracy to close. Even when that was clear, Tracy remained involved and advised me in my negotiations with the bank to make sure I ended up with the best deal possible. If I had it to do over again, I, without a doubt, would have called Tracy first. She clearly loves what she does and cares about her clients. I'll be recommending her to any friends looking to buy a house, and will go right to her if we ever decide to buy again. Highly recommended!

She is very responsive to all types of communication which is a huge relief during the home buying process. I would, without question, or hesitation utilize her for my next home buying experience.

I was hired for a restoration project in Portland, and upon finding severe hidden damage, the GPM project manager explicitly directed me to complete extensive out-of-scope work with the promise of full compensation. After I put in hundreds of hours of labor, GPM refused to honor their verbal directives and tried to hide behind the initial flat-rate quote. I was forced to file a Mechanic's Lien and a civil lawsuit just to get paid. Ultimately, GPM refused to take financial responsibility for the work they ordered. The distressed property owner had to step in and pay me thousands of dollars directly out of his own pocket to clear the title to his building. Don't hire GPM as your property management company! They do NOT have your best interest! If you do contract work for GPM, do not lift a hammer without a signed change order! Even then.....beware! Dishonesty in the ranks is enabled from the top.

Selling our Portland, Maine townhouse after 25 years was a daunting task. Reports of a changing…read morehousing market, coupled with a complicated & unfamiliar real estate process, made clear 'For Sale by Owner' was not an option for us. From the Vitalius Real Estate Group market reports & newsletters received in the mail, we determined Elise Loschiavo had the experience & knowledge to sell our condo. Elise didn't disappoint. Elise demonstrated the expertise on how to best market our townhouse and kept us abreast on each step, explaining the real estate process, terminology & contracts in terms we understood. Elise's resource network, including a stager & photographer, was critical in making our townhouse competitive with other condos listed for our area. Appreciation of Elise's services & resources grew when, after selling our condo, we relocated to Oregon switching to the role of Buyer. Exploring area listings on internet sites and onsite tours, we found several houses profiled the Sellers' life in residence, not a place my wife & I could make our new home: * Oversized/numerous pieces of furniture giving a room a cramped look; * Personal photos or knickknacks throughout the home; and * Spaces, especially closets, filled with clothing, toys, storages boxes, etc. Thanks to Elise & her network of resources, our listing avoided these shortcomings by presenting our condo in a manner a Buyer could picture themselves living in. The Result: Our condo was under contract within two days and $20k over the asking price. Our cross-country move from Maine to Oregon required making numerous & daily decisions. One of our best decisions was enlisting Elise as our real estate agent to sell our Portland, ME condo.
