Junior's crew at Guaranteed Painting was amazing! They were able to get out to us very quickly and delivered a pristine paint job! Our paint had been peeling from any woodwork in the house, and Junior and his crew were able to make it look like our mess had never happened and we now have a beautiful paint job! Wow and wow!!! I had 2 rooms and a hallway trim painted. They also had to do numerous repairs on the ceiling and wall drywall. They showed up on a Thursday morning and were done by Friday around 1. These are my two teenage son's rooms so they were in rough shape. Can't think of anything I'd rather have somebody else do than paint and these guys knocked it out of the park. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I contacted 3 painters in Bryan for my boss who needed her parents' former home painted 3 days later when she would be in town. I spoke with Herb first and was so impressed with his thoroughness, professionalism and courtesy that the other two guys really didn't have a chance. I didn't end up getting quotes from the other companies, who possibly would have been significantly cheaper, but there was zero doubt in my mind after speaking with all of them that you get what you pay for and Guaranteed would exceed my boss's expectations. Herb's estimate, which I received quickly, outlined all of the steps they would take and products they would use. It helped us see that the job was a bit bigger than we were thinking, if it was to be done well, so the price was not unjustified. I just checked with my boss on how it went (the job was done end of last week) and she said they were amazing. They were respectful, protected all surfaces and cleaned up thoroughly, and didn't fill her trashcans with paint stuff. They even took down 10 wind chimes and put them all back up in the same order. The leader asked if she wanted an adjoining ceiling painted as well and she said no it was fine, but later he came back to her and advised that it really needed to be done and he would include it. After the work was completed, he did a walk through with her to ensure everything was to her satisfaction. And then within an hour, Herb arrived on site to inspect the work as well. The first time we used Herb Thorn and Guaranteed Painting Co. was for inside painting. We called him at the recommendation of our realtor when we first purchased our home. I didn't think we could have a better experience. The work was wonderful, much better quality than we had been used to getting in California. Herb's crews were the cleanest, most courteous and helpful workmen that you could ask for. The attention to detail and doing the job right was noticeable. Now, after 5 years we are selling our home and moving back to SoCal and I had Herb come and take care of some outside wood repairs and complete exterior painting, as well as some inside painting that we didn't do the first time. We needed the living areas, kitchen and hallway painted. After hearing good things about Herb Thorn & Guaranteed Painting, we gave him a call. Herb arrived at the time promised, looked over our space, and gave us the price of labor with paint being extra. Marie Thorn came over a few days before the date of the job and coordinated the paint color. Herb and his crew arrived on time. They got busy moving furniture, removing switch plates, masking what was not to be painted, and laid down a yard-wide paper to protect the floors. When we returned a few hours later, the first coat was on the walls and the second coat started. They did an incredible job! Add the fact that my paint attempt would have taken two weeks instead of the six hours. The dips, slips, spills and errors I would have had made would be nowhere close to the no error, quality result we received.
