Never late and you're never left wondering. I've dealt with Ernie, the owner, who is a no nonsense kind of guy. He'll come in, take a look at the job and give you a quote on the spot. If the job takes longer than he intended, the price remains the same. He carries spare taps, drains etc so in the case where a tap had seized up, he was able to replace the whole tap set from what he had in the van. I can't tell you how good it is to have a reliable tradesman that isn't interested in ripping you off but is just interested in doing a good job. Well, actually, I probably can as no doubt you've all been there yourselves as far as unreliable tradies. I can't recommend this business highly enough. (They are gasfitters too).

McGrath & Frisby were highly recommended to us and we haven't looked back. These guys are warm, friendly and Iappreciate that they talk to me without that, "Let me leave a note for your boyfriend" tone. More over, I respect that on the most recent occasion we called for their services the plumber didn't go straight for the money bag. Instead he made a few adjustments and put in place a "this should honestly hold and fix the issue without you needing to buy a new bathroom sink and plumbing" solution. We still may need to, but I appreciated the approach of trying an alternative before getting to that. Suffice to say, dealing with the lads (there may be ladies, I just haven't met them yet), has been a breeze. So much of a breeze I'd tell you to call them when you next find yourself in need of a good local electrician or plumber.
