Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer support from GSM Charity Auctions. I have been trying since December 2025 to obtain a receipt for my donation. I have sent multiple emails, submitted web forms, and attempted to call several times, and I have received absolutely no response. What's frustrating is how easy it was to get in contact with them when they were collecting money. Now that I need basic documentation for my records, there is no communication at all. If you're going to operate as a charity organization, transparency and responsiveness should be a priority. Ignoring donors after payment is unacceptable. read more

my guess is that they mean well. the auction part of the experience is well-handled. But as with anything, the key is can they follow through? No, not really. There is lack of communication, inconsistent information, missed deadlines, and sloppiness all around. as customers, we do not have time to chase them but that's what it requires to get anything. I hope to never purchase from them again. Incredibly frustrating, with no respect for other people's time. Avoid the headache. Steer clear. read more

I purchase an autographed, framed, poster from them. I was told they did not bring the letter of authenticity due to the weather, but they would email or mail it to me the following day. I have yet to get anything from them and they are not responding to my emails or calls! I am starting to wonder if they are a scam!!! read more

What an experience I recently returned from my trip to Portugal that I won in an auction put on by gsm charity auctions. Jose was amazing to work with he helped plan the trip from beginning to end and even sent a welcome gift at our hotel when we arrived I would highly recommend there services. read more

My department runs a Christmas charity event every year ranging from about 150-250 people. We decided to use GSM's services this year and we were very impressed. The memorabilia and the service they provided were fantastic. The wide variety of options to bid on for the event were the talk of the event. The live auction was so exhilarating that wife had to talk me out of bidding on everything (even though it's for the kids LOL). My team and I will be using them again for all of our upcoming events read more

I bought a framed photo at a convention. Didn't hear anything or receive it for a couple of weeks. Emailed them with date of purchase, price, ID# and got an immediate response - I mean within 5 minutes - from them. Then another guy emailed me and apologized for not sending it, it was in that day's UPS and delivered to my house two days later. So that's OK with me, they jumped right on it. read more

I recently went to a golf outing for Alzheimer's awareness where I won a few items that couldn't bring home with me to the west coast but GSM was great to work with they shipped everything for me and I had it arrive with enough time for Christmas highly recommend there services read more

I recently was at a charity event in Long Island, where Gsm charity auctions helped us plan an amazing trip to Portugal from the moment we bid on it up until we bought our tickets and got to the airport to fly over and fly back. They assisted us on every level. I will definitely be using them again for my travel when they are at a fundraising event. read more

We brought in GSM to run our entire auction at our event which was a huge relief for us to have them take that off our shoulders. From setup to cleanup they had staff on site. by the end of the night they helped us raise over $65000 in silent and live auction for us. i would highly recommend them as we will be using them again in the future. read more

spending $500 and then asking extra $50 to ship when I asked the status on the jersey and wasnt even framed like in the photo. UNREAL - Do NOT buy anything- i'm hoping the money actually went to charity.... read more

I knowingly purchased a signed Barry Sanders jersey over market value, but I did so because the money was going to a great cause. I was told I would get the jersey in a week. It's now been close to 2 months and I still haven't received the jersey. I have called every number and extension that I could find on the company and no one has returned my call. No one every picks up the phone which is a red flag. If you read the other reviews here or elsewhere, it's the same: 1. You pay for an item 2. It never arrives 3. No one picks up the phone or returns messages As far as I can tell, this is a scam. Stay away. read more

I have been trying to get in touch with GSM to get my tickets for the yankees game in New York which I bought at a charity event in Las Vegas. No one answers the phone. read more

It took Quite a while for delivery of our purchased items. Their auction went well, though.

If only there was an option for 0 stars, then GSM would get 0 stars from me. My clients are all non-profits and social service orgs, and I get invited to a lot of galas that have silent auctions. I like to support my clients, and their good works, so I bid on an item which I wound up winning. My suspicions were first aroused that something shady was happening when I got the phone call asking for my credit card number. The reason I was suspicious was because the man hung up on me right in the middle of telling me when to expect my item and I also thought at the time that he sounded very unprofessional and rude. Then, when I didn't get a confirmation email soon after, I suspected I was being scammed and that maybe someone might have taken the bid list and just called the phone numbers to get their money. Well folks, it's still just as bad to take a persons money with no intention of providing the product they purchased. I looked up the company name and was a tiny bit relieved that it was seemingly a legit company, but I never got a return call, or email, or receipt, or ANYTHING whatsoever in a month so I just knew that my money was gone and I would never get my product. Reading the other horrible reviews made me feel sick and confirmed my feeling of being scammed. If you're reading this, no doubt they've scammed you too. I will get my money back, that's already in the process of happening, and I am letting my client who held the gala know about this. I also have a few more galas that I've been invited to in the next few weeks, and you'd better believe I'll paying close attention to see if they have a silent auction and who is running it so this doesn't continue to happen. read more

I purchased a two signed pictures from an auction sponsored by my high school alma mater. Both came quickly but one of them was the wrong item. As someone in sales and marketing myself, I know that the true test of a company's metal is how they handle customer problems / complaints. Andrew answered my call immediately and arranged for a replacement. As luck would have it, the warehouse shipped out the same wrong item a second time. Andrew apologized profusely and once again arranged for a replacement. Each time, the item was delivered in less time than he promised. The correct item came and I couldn't be happier with it. Mistakes happen - that's life. What matters is how they are handled; in this case everything was handled exceptionally well. read more

This is a scam. I paid for a signed Odell Beckham jersey and it never arrived. I tried calling to inquire and no answer. After disputing the charge with my credit card company that's when a representative tried to contact me but still the jersey never arrived. After doing some research, I found this is common that GSM either doesn't send the merchandise or sends fake merchandise. Don't get scammed by this place. read more

I purchased an item at a Grand Cayman event a few months ago. I was charged for the item but it was not mailed to my address. I contacted them and left a message but it was not returned. I made another call and sent to voicemail for a second request. Followed with a thicall that they no longer picked up. My guess is they are ignoring my number. Looks like I will need to dispute the charge and contact those that included the organization in the event. Looks like a scam. read more
