Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer support from GSM Charity Auctions. I have been trying since December 2025 to obtain a receipt for my donation. I have sent multiple emails, submitted web forms, and attempted to call several times, and I have received absolutely no response. What's frustrating is how easy it was to get in contact with them when they were collecting money. Now that I need basic documentation for my records, there is no communication at all. If you're going to operate as a charity organization, transparency and responsiveness should be a priority. Ignoring donors after payment is unacceptable. read more

I purchase an autographed, framed, poster from them. I was told they did not bring the letter of authenticity due to the weather, but they would email or mail it to me the following day. my guess is that they mean well. the auction part of the experience is well-handled. But as with anything, the key is can they follow through? No, not really. There is lack of communication, inconsistent information, missed deadlines, and sloppiness all around. as customers, we do not have time to chase them but that's what it requires to get anything. I bought a framed photo at a convention. Didn't hear anything or receive it for a couple of weeks. Emailed them with date of purchase, price, ID# and got an immediate response - I mean within 5 minutes - from them. Then another guy emailed me and apologized for not sending it, it was in that day's UPS and delivered to my house two days later. So that's OK with me, they jumped right on it. read more

I knowingly purchased a signed Barry Sanders jersey over market value, but I did so because the money was going to a great cause. I was told I would get the jersey in a week. It's now been close to 2 months and I still haven't received the jersey. I have called every number and extension that I could find on the company and no one has returned my call. No one every picks up the phone which is a red flag. If you read the other reviews here or elsewhere, it's the same: 1. You pay for an item 2. It never arrives 3. If only there was an option for 0 stars, then GSM would get 0 stars from me. My clients are all non-profits and social service orgs, and I get invited to a lot of galas that have silent auctions. I like to support my clients, and their good works, so I bid on an item which I wound up winning. My suspicions were first aroused that something shady was happening when I got the phone call asking for my credit card number. The reason I was suspicious was because the man hung up on me right in the middle of telling me when to expect my item and I also thought at the time that he sounded very unprofessional and rude. Then, when I didn't get a confirmation email soon after, I suspected I was being scammed and that maybe someone might have taken the bid list and just called the phone numbers to get their money. Well folks, it's still just as bad to take a persons money with no intention of providing the product they purchased. I looked up the company name and was a tiny bit relieved that it was seemingly a legit company, but I never got a return call, or email, or receipt, or ANYTHING whatsoever in a month so I just knew that my money was gone and I would never get my product. Reading the other horrible reviews made me feel sick and confirmed my feeling of being scammed. If you're reading this, no doubt they've scammed you too. I will get my money back, that's already in the process of happening, and I am letting my client who held the gala know about this. I also have a few more galas that I've been invited to in the next few weeks, and you'd better believe I'll paying close attention to see if they have a silent auction and who is running it so this doesn't continue to happen. read more

I purchased a two signed pictures from an auction sponsored by my high school alma mater. Both came quickly but one of them was the wrong item. As someone in sales and marketing myself, I know that the true test of a company's metal is how they handle customer problems / complaints. Andrew answered my call immediately and arranged for a replacement. As luck would have it, the warehouse shipped out the same wrong item a second time. Andrew apologized profusely and once again arranged for a replacement. Each time, the item was delivered in less time than he promised. The correct item came and I couldn't be happier with it. Mistakes happen - that's life. What matters is how they are handled; in this case everything was handled exceptionally well. read more

This is a scam. I paid for a signed Odell Beckham jersey and it never arrived. I tried calling to inquire and no answer. After disputing the charge with my credit card company that's when a representative tried to contact me but still the jersey never arrived. After doing some research, I found this is common that GSM either doesn't send the merchandise or sends fake merchandise. Don't get scammed by this place. read more

I purchased an item at a Grand Cayman event a few months ago. I was charged for the item but it was not mailed to my address. I contacted them and left a message but it was not returned. I made another call and sent to voicemail for a second request. Followed with a thicall that they no longer picked up. My guess is they are ignoring my number. Looks like I will need to dispute the charge and contact those that included the organization in the event. Looks like a scam. read more
